Today, I heard the words “Advocate” and “Vindication,” and “the Lawyer of all lawyers lives in you!”

Think upon this beloved Child of God. Sometimes we think of the Holy Spirit as just a force or power, but The Holy Spirit is a Person, the third Person of the Godhead, FULLY God in every way, Who lives in the heart of every born again believer.

Is He there just to make us feel good? Oh it is so much more than that, Beloved. He is the Spirit of Jesus Christ.

He is the “Parakletos” in Greek, meaning “close beside,” and “summoned, called to one’s side,” especially “called to one’s aid.” And He is not only our Helper and Comforter, He is our ATTORNEY, our WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, the One who gives PERFECT EVIDENCE on our behalf; evidence which stands up in the Courtroom of Heaven!

No wonder that the Bible encourages us to pray in the Spirit, amen?

The Lawyer of all lawyers is your Defender for as Jesus declared on the Cross, “IT IS FINISHED, it is accomplished, the case has been WON!”

“Beloved. Do not despair when various trials come your way. There is One who lives in you that never stops working for you.

The Spirit of your God is your Advocate who is at the Right Hand of your Abba Father. He is the Lawyer of all lawyers standing before the Righteous Judge who died for you.

The Right Hand is the Hand of Perfect Justice and Power. He upholds the Truth on your behalf. My Word is Truth.

Satan is the accuser of the brethren, but My Truth is that there is now therefore NO condemnation to those in Christ Jesus.

I AM He who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for you, how will I not also, along with Him, freely give you all things?

Are you not seated with Me in the Heavenly Realms in Christ, Beloved? Your case was won at the Cross.

I AM your Defender. Now, who will bring any charge against My Elect? It is I who justifies. Who is there to condemn you?

For Christ Jesus, who died, and more than that was raised to life, is at the Right Hand of the Father and He is ever interceding for you.

I have given you the Paraclete, the Advocate to always come to your aid in every case. You are never alone, My Child. Speak the Word, My Child, and pray in the Spirit.

I AM your Wonderful Counselor, the Spirit of Jesus Christ, the One who helps you in your weakness.

For when you do not know how you ought to pray, the Spirit Himself, The Lawyer of lawyers intercedes for you with groans too deep for words.

“No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and your vindication is from Me,” declares the LORD.”

The Evidence shall speak, the accusations thrown out, and you shall have the VICTORY. Case closed!”

THE HOLY SPRIT : Advocate: Strongs3875 paráklētos (from 3844 /pará, “from close-beside” and 2564 /kaléō, “make a call”) –called to one’s aid, properly, a legal advocate who makes the right judgment-call because close enough to the situation. 3875 /paráklētos (“advocate, advisor-helper”) is the regular term in NT times of an attorney (lawyer) – i.e. someone giving evidence that stands up in court. An advocate, intercessor, defender, consoler, comforter, helper, Paraclete.

ADVOCATE : Thayer’s Greek Lexicon: STRONGS NT 3875:
1. One who pleads another’s cause before a judge, a pleader, counsel for defense, legal assistant; an advocate.
2. Universally, one who pleads another’s cause with one, an intercessor: so of Christ, in his exaltation at God’s right hand, pleading with God the Father for the pardon of our sins, 1 John 2:1 (in the same sense, of the divine Logos)
3. In the widest sense, a helper, succorer, aider, assistant; so of the Holy Spirit destined to take the place of Christ with the apostles (after His ascension to the Father), to lead them to a deeper knowledge of gospel truth, and to give them the divine strength needed to enable them to undergo trials and persecutions on behalf of the divine kingdom.

Bible Verses :

“And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another ADVOCATE to be with you forever — the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.” John 14:16-17.

“But I tell you the truth, it is for your benefit that I am going away. Unless I go away, the ADVOCATE will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” John 16:7.

“This is what the Lord says to Jerusalem: “I will be your LAWYER to plead your case, and I will avenge you….” Jeremiah 51:36.

“Even now my witness is in heaven, and my ADVOCATE is on high.” Job 16:19.

“In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know how we ought to pray, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groans too deep for words.” Romans 8:26.

“Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2.

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder. And His name shall be called WONDERFUL COUNSELOR, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6.

“because I know that through your prayers and the provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, my distress will turn out for my deliverance. I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have complete boldness so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death.” Philippians 1:19-20.
