A Vision of the Israelites and its particular relevance to Britain today — even the USA too!

As I went to bed last night, I felt the pull of The Holy Spirit, so I climbed into bed, picked up my notepad and pen, then waited.

I started seeing what appeared to be a bit of sand blowing around in the wind.

As vision became clearer, I realised I was in the desert and, to my great surprise, I was among people dressed in biblical costumes, walking through the wasteland.

Then it dawned on me — I was in a vision of the Israelites wandering around the Sinai Desert, where they were for forty years.

It was dry, very dusty and dirty, sand in everything — sandals, toes, hair — wind blowing sand into your face — stinging as it blew in the breeze or wind.

I heard the sounds of many people around me, all their goods and chattels clanking as they walked. I heard the animals — goats, sheep, cows, camels, even horses, a gentle cacophony of noise as many people were all walking along together.

I saw manna being passed around as food seemed to be eaten on the go, as it were, although we’d pass family groups sitting to the side eating a meal of manna together.

I wondered why I was seeing, feeling, hearing all this, so I asked The LORD why such a vivid Vision?

He showed me more — a large Tent, which I knew was The Tent of Meeting, where the elders met.

I saw a smaller Tent, more decorated and obviously looked after with great care, and this I knew to be The Tabernacle.

I saw the pillar of smoke and fire, and I thought of the daily sacrifices and things associated with them. I didn’t see any sacrificing nor smell anything of that part of the life on the move.

I saw the elders meeting with Moses, but mainly The LORD showed me some of the day to day business of moving this huge mass, over a million people, around.

They would take an entire day or two to even start getting the whole camp moving again.

It occurred to me that this reason alone was sufficient to justify staying in one place for months at a time.

However, I did see that, whenever the whole Camp moved, the priests and worshipers leading with part of the army around them and the rest of the army bringing up the rear. That was somehow an important part of the Vision.

But why show me this?

“Because you need to understand the discipline of life together; how necessary it was to have teamwork and co-operation — and how necessary it still is today.”

My mind came back to the present time.

Many Pastors and Leaders are bringing us back to Tent Meetings. They are leaving the house and bringing ‘manna’ to the people outside The Church, and into the open air and Tents.

Perhaps what I was seeing is a guide, a model almost, for Tent Mission Organisers today.

Send the worshippers and intercessors ahead of you to prepare the ground — the rest of the Team (the Camp) follows on, and the first thing they do is to erect The Tent of Meeting, including The Tabernacle or Altar, The Mercy Seat, at the head of The Meeting Place.

As I was praying further over this strange Vision and it’s purpose and meaning, The LORD gave me this interpretation.

Britain is a Nation under fire

“Your country, The United Kingdom, has for the past thirty plus years, even decades, wallowed around in a wilderness of her own making.

There has been no direction, no consistent will power, only a steady decline in moral, political, and spiritual values that have taken the people and The Church, far from Me!

You have wandered around in the wilderness of indecision, bad decision, and wrong decision!

You are like lost sheep without a shepherd. That is what you are now watching.

“Is it going to continue forever?” you may well ask.

The Time has come for you to enter, if not your promised land, at least the land I have had set aside for you.

“How do we get there?” you ask.

“Repent and pray for My Anointed Leaders,” says The LORD.

“For otherwise, you will continue down the slippery slope of decline that I have set for the goat nations.

You are a Sheep Nation — one that I, The LORD, personally shepherd.

But if you do not, as a Nation, turn soon, you will fall into the valley of destruction that I have decreed for those nations that continue to ignore and reject Me!”

Then The LORD added, “While I AM bringing your redemption, do not turn aside to other gods, as did Israel.

Do not build another Golden Calf to worship — another ungodly model to follow — for that will certainly bring destruction.

Instead, worship Me continually. Let your Praise and Worship rise up to Me as incense, and let your Intercessors continually lead your prayers.

Then I will bring restoration of your spiritual destiny.

Then I will bring your light and place it on a hill for all the world to once again see!”

This is the Word of The LORD today.
