Anyone noticed a change in atmosphere lately?

I am noticing something happening more and more right now.

Let me explain what I see happening: Worship is getting serious!

By that I mean that Worship is becoming used more and more by The LORD as a vehicle on which to introduce and then lead people into The Presence of God and to the Anointing that comes with that Presence.

The Presence is Jesus and The Holy Spirit of course.

Sometimes this Presence comes with an air or feeling of great expectation.

Other times He simply comes quietly — this depends on the sensitivity to His Presence on individual believers.

As a result and as the anointing for worship is allowed full rein, so The Holy Spirit ministers.

The outward manifestation of this is often that worshippers are overwhelmed by the Spirit as God ministers to their reaching out to Him in Worship.

Worshippers not infrequently get “slain” in the Spirit.

This is and has been happening in Worship all over The Church for some time.

It is important to note here that the presence does not rely on the sound or ‘display’ of the Worship.

It relies solely on the hearts of the worshippers.

Of late, however, and as a direct consequence of the anointing in Worship, I believe, has come a new powerful anointing in the preaching of The Word.

Whereas we used to sit in polite virtual silence, listening to the preacher, now there is an increasing trend of people, moved by the preaching, to call out in agreement — usually a loud “Amen”, maybe accompanied by clapping.

Sometimes a burst of sustained applause — as The Spirit moves with The Word being spoken, so people are reacting.

It usually encourages the preacher and the general noise volume increases exponentially with the anointing on the preacher.

In my own view, this the manifestation of Spirit and Word coming together just as has been prophesied.

If this is so, then we can expect other manifestations of both The Holy Spirit and of unholy spirits.

The One will manifest in spontaneous healings, the other will manifest as evil spirits either start resisting or fleeing in the Presence — as has been demonstrated many times before in meetings all around the world.

Now, to some, this is ‘normal’ whilst to others this will be a quantum leap away from their normal.

A friend of ours returned from an overseas ministry trip where he had witnessed the dead being raised and miracles manifesting all through the meetings.

Talking to the local pastor, he asked if these sorts of things happened often to be told that this was quite ‘normal’ in their meetings.

Over here if the dead were raised in a meeting, most present would almost freak out!

The point is, for me, this is coming here to The United Kingdom — and it’s coming soon!

The Word and The Spirit are coming together!

As they draw closer, so the anointing will increase and, as the anointing increases, so the presence of God will cause the hearts of men to turn back towards Him.

This is starting to happen among our young people and, oddly enough, among the older generation too.

Watch for it as it spreads right across our society and as revival starts to build momentum.

In the Words of at least two prophets I know, probably several, the wave is about to break over The United Kingdom.

When that happens, Church as we know it will never be the same again!
