This is a Taste of What is to Come
“That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom The LORD shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie,” 2 Thessalonians 2:2-11.
“The shadow of the enemy has spread around the globe, but I tell you that My Light will penetrate all the darkness.
For darkness will never defeat the light; and yet the signs that are all around you, point to the times that you are now living in.
Watch and wait, for the days will unravel into other ones, and soon the entire beast system will take over.
But you are not yet in that season now. This is a taste of what is to come. For your nation will fall prey to these things, and the one that calls himself king, will take over.
Woe to those who follow after him. For many of you My People, have been deceived. You haven’t yet had your eyes poured with salve so that you may see.
For ultimate control will be given to him. There will be nothing left that would be under his finger. But you My People, must devote yourselves to prayer.
You must enter into My Chambers daily. Now is the time to be alert.
But don’t be swayed by many of the reports that you are now reading. For many of them would lead you astray.”
~ Stephen Hanson
Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to The LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
Truth Lord anoint our eyes with eye salve that we might see clearly. Lord I unplug our ears that we my hear what your Spirit is saying to the church
“We’ve come to the place in the Divine story line where the present must give way to the future. Many scholars and Bible students have proposed all sort of things for interpreting what the Bible says about end times, but anything approximating precision is not possible.
The reason for this is straightforward. Old Testament prophecy for the messianic solution to the salvation of humanity and restoration of Eden was deliberately cryptic. So it is with prophecy yet awaiting fulfillment. The biblical text is riddled with ambiguities that undermine the certainty of modern eschatological systems. The New Testament writers who speak about prophetic fulfillments didn’t always interpret Old Testament literally. Much is communicated through metaphor framed by an ancient Near Eastern worldview. Consequently, our modern expectations about how a given prophecy will “work” are inherently insecure.” Michael S. Heiser – The Unseen Realm – Chapter 39 pg. 349
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. 1 Cor. 13
Of course much of prophecy, particularly that which has not yet been fulfilled, is left to the unfolding of those events outlined in scripture. And yet, even now, God is pouring forth His Spirit upon His servants to help us at this time, as surely we are now living in the very last of the last of days.
Amen to Your word Father. Selah…
Thank you for this word, Pastor Hanson.
