Today The LORD worked a Miracle — He fixed our Water Well!

I want now to brag on The LORD and exalt His great and mighty Name.

He truly is a miracle working God, and there is nothing he cannot do, fix or heal. He is God Almighty and nothing is too hard for Him!

Now let me relate what has just happened today, here for Celeste and I.

Two days ago our Water Well started surging in the house and would all but go off then come back. The water was very weak coming from the faucets. Then it would shut off without notice. Suddenly we had no water.

Well, I really know very little about how to fix a water Pump, or a Pressure Tank, or a pressure switch.

So….. I called a repair man to come help me with The Well, not knowing what to do. He came to the house, went out to The Well and looked at it taking some electric readings with his meter.

Then he told me both the [blue] Pressure Tank was no good, for it was water logged, and the Pump was gone too.

He said I would have to fix both things. I asked him what it would cost, and he said: “It will cost you $4200.00” for him to fix it!

To that I told him I would have wait and think about what to do, for I did not have that much money to spend on The Well.

Then I asked him if he could give me a better price. In answer to that, he went into a long spill about how much the a new Pressure Tank would cost, and then the cost of a new Well Pump.

He said: “You must let me fix it — because I know exactly what you need to replace it with. Don’t try to fix it [yourself] — for you could do more damage to The Well and it will even cost you more money.”

He said I had been ripped off by the people who installed The Well, because they furnished me with inferior Well parts.

“I will have to wait,” I told him.

He said, “When you get ready to fix it — call me!”

He then left.

I was glad when he drove out of the driveway. I said to myself, he must be crazy to think I am going to pay that much just to replace a Pressure Tank and a Pump!

I knew I did not know anything much about what to do, so I begin to Google for information. I found a lot of information about Pressure Tanks and Well Pumps, and they were not priced near what the man had quoted me! I then thought: “He must think I am a fool!”

So, the next day I went to town and bought a new Pressure Tank for $400.00 and bought it home and after all day working I managed to replace the old tank. Sure enough, the tank was waterlogged.

But… when I turned on the electricity, the Pump would not work at all. The Pressure Gauge just sat silent and showed no movement.

“Now what?” I said.

So I went back and Googled how to pull a Pump from a Well. For what I found it seemed rather easy, so I decided to go buy a Pump and fix it myself.

But. … when I tried to pull out the Pump from The Well to see the type to buy [and it is not that deep and should have come right out], it would not move.

It was stuck…. I was cautious not to pull too hard hoping to not damage something. Now what?

So I knelt on the ground in front of The Well House, and just all but cried…

Now I will have to pay a huge price to get The Well Pump out and a new one installed.

I went again to the computer and begin to try to find other well service people to come and help me. I found one listed, but he was out of his office.

I left a phone message and said: “If you can help me pull a Well Pump and repair it, please give me a call.

I went back into the house and told Celeste: “I just think we are going to be without water now for who knows how long!”

Then I heard in my spirit: “Why not pray and ask The LORD to help?”

“Yes,” I said, “I haven’t really prayed about this!”

So I went to The Well and did kneel down on my knees and I began…

I prayed like this:

“LORD, forgive me for not praying about this. Please forgive me. LORD, I need a Miracle.

Please do not let the devil steal any money which we must have to work.

Will you send an Angel to help fix this Well?

You have fixed my trucks and more, can you help me fix this Well? Amen!”

Immediately I heard The LORD say to me: “Wait ten minutes — and do nothing for ten minutes at least till they are past. Do nothing! Just wait.”

I dropped everything and went into the house and just sat down and continued to Pray.

I waited about twelve minutes then went to The Well. It still was not working….. So I gave up and went into the house to tell Celeste, “What are we going to do?”

As I was talking, the phone rang… Celeste answered: “It is a another man from a Well Service [Co.].”

So I took the phone and begin to talk. I told the man what my problem was, and he said he could not come for five days.

“Well, we need water!”

“Sorry I cannot come until then,” he said.

Suddenly Celeste yelled out from the kitchen, “The water in the sink is on! The water is running!”

I asked the man to wait, asking Celeste, “Are you telling me the water is working?”

“Yes,” she said, “It is working fine!”

I then began to tell the Service Man on the phone, “I don’t know if you believe in Prayer or not — but my Wife just told me the water was now working!”

He then said, “Yes, I believe in Prayer! Matter of fact, I am a believing Christian. Wow!”

He said, Well, if by Monday all is still well, call me!” and hung up.

I knew for a fact that the main breaker was turned off and there was no electricity going to The Well!

How is it working with no electricity?

Then I knew. It was The LORD and a Miracle.

He had turned on the Water Well — and it was working without electricity!

I hurried out to The Well and sure enough I could hear The Well running and there was about 20 lbs. Pressure on the pressure gauge.

How can this be? I then turned on the faucet by The Well House and it ran! I turned it all the way on it the water shot out of the hose.

Wow. Praise The LORD!

Then The LORD spoke and told me, “Now turn on the electricity — and The Well is fixed!”

I did go to the Main Breaker and turned on the switch for power, and The Well kept working.

But, I had to then adjust the Pressure Switch to increase the actual full pressure up to 60 pounds!

The Well was fixed and now working great!

Now tonight we still have a fixed well and water in the house.

Today has definitely been “A miracle day” — and we know we have been visited by an Angel, and The LORD.

Praise His Holy and wonderful Name!

There is absolutely nothing The LORD cannot do!!
