Wash Your Face and Anoint your Eyelids
— Keep it All Simple and Real!
Good morning to all.
What Word do we all need today?
The Word of God! We all need to be encouraged most of all without a lot of fanfare.
As you read, here is a song that blesses me a lot. Hopefully it will bless you also.
We need just continue to press on and persevere in The Gospel of Jesus Christ!
He so loves us and will never forsake us.
“Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The LORD is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.” Hebrews 13:5-6
“The LORD is in His holy temple! The LORD’s Throne is in heaven! His eyes behold; His eyelids test the children of men!” Psalm 11:4
Keep it all Simple and Real!
“As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh. But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.” Galatians 6:12-16
Most important always, we must guard our hearts!
“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” Proverbs 4:23-27
What is it all about in our daily lives as a Christian?
Whenever I start to lose balance, The LORD always brings me back to these verses:
“Wherewith shall I come before The LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will The LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth The LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” Micah 6:6-8
That is keeping it simple and real to do justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with our God!
That is a plain, straight path easy to understand. It is The Gospel trail of ‘Glory’ unlike the world’s walk!
Dare to be different in this fallen, sinful world!
Dare to be a ‘Daniel’
… continued as The LORD leads.

Joyce. This is such a beautiful Word. The gospel is so simple and one can feel Holy Spirit on this Word. It brings us back to the basics of the Word of God. It starts with our Lord and ends with Him. He his Alpha and Omega. Blessings.
