What Is Your Foundation?
Question:
Do you really know what foundation you are on?
Who laid the foundation upon which you move and live?
It is terrible hard to hear the truth, when one finds out he/she have been on a false foundation for years.
The Apostle Paul said: There is only one foundation… so… take heed how you build thereupon.
In other words, the foundation was laid correctly.. but, someone [you or your predecessor] laid down a foundation upon that foundation.
So upon what sort of foundation do you stand?
Are you sure it is built upon the true foundation correctly?
Take heed how you build… For it says every man’s works will be judged by the fire and many will suffer great loss…
Scripture:
“According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.
For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire,” 1 Corinthians 3:10-15.
