You Become What You Behold!
In the case of Jacob and the speckled and spotted sheep, when Jacob cut the bark and put them beside the watering troughs, then as they beheld them there, the plain sheep became pregnant with the spotted and speckled sheep.
“Then Jacob took fresh shoots from poplar, almond, and sycamore trees, and peeled white streaks in them, and placed these rods beside the watering troughs so that Laban’s flocks would see them when they came to drink; for that is when they mated. So the flocks mated before the white-streaked rods, and their offspring were streaked and spotted, and Jacob added them to his flock,” Genesis 30:37-40.
This always amazes me when I think about it in in terms of mating season and then, think about how God just knows better than us how to get us to produce fruit in His Kingdom.
When we behold Him and His word, we will begin to bare real fruit!
What Have We Been Beholding?
God spoke to me today and said that “whatever the people behold is how they will think and “as a man thinks in His heart, so is he!” (Proverbs 23:7).
He began to show me why people are producing from two different Kingdoms.
He said, “Just look at how the people think that are watching certain news stations and then how others act that watch the other.”
He said, “As they begin to think like what they behold, then what they think will produce!”
Some are producing evil while others are producing a good looking evil, if that makes sense…
He said, “But they are both from the same tree…
This is why you are seeing such a distinction in the way people are reacting to the same circumstances!”
He said, “My People must operate with the mind of Christ now! And for them to operate this way they must behold Me in My Word and in prayer!”
No one and I mean, no one will produce Kingdom fruit that is eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
By that I mean what they behold good or evil doesn’t necessarily mean it is God’s fruit!
He said, “It is time to change the channel to Kingdom perspectives!”
This Is the Way God Made Us
He is saying only the view from heaven will produce Godly fruit! It is time to behold Him if we want to become like Him and if we want to produce lasting fruit.
Remember in John 15, He said you must abide in the vine to produce!
And remember on a daily basis that you have to change what you are seeing and hearing!
No one is exempt from this!
It is the way that God made us!
He made us for the Spiritual things, not the things of this world!
God told me and many of you have read it a few years back that “the mind of Christ will be His mark on us.”
Since we are the gates, according to Psalm 24, we must have clean hands and a pure heart (mind, will, and emotions) in order to let the King of Glory into our cities, countries, homes and churches!
Let’s get busy BEHOLDING THE KING! Hallelujah!!
