Your Dance: A Great Weapon Against the Enemy’s Weapon

Last night, after prayer before bed, I felt very weak and tired.
But, Just as I was about to fall asleep, a particular Praise Song began playing repeatedly in my spirit.
I knew I was being prompted to rise, play the song, and dance before The LORD.
When I checked the time, it was 12:05 a.m. and I thought to myself it is impossible for me to stand up and dance at this time!
Despite the tiredness, I responded, for as it is written: “The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak!” (Matthew 26:41).
Though my body felt weak, my spirit was stirred to Praise and Dance!
I eventually stood up and danced for a few minutes.
And as I turned off the music and removed my headphones, I heard in my spirit, “He has been entangled by the chain.”
I asked, “What chain, LORD?”
“The chain the enemy planned to use to bind you — he has been entangled in it himself,” said The LORD.
Just as David used Goliath’s own sword to defeat him, your enemy has attacked himself with his own weapon, he has been entangled by his chains… and he will remain bound forever! Hallelujah!
“Do not underestimate the power of your Joy,” says The LORD.
“When you Praise, Worship, Sing and Dance before Me, it paralyzes the enemy! The devil hates to see you joyful…. he cannot stand a joyful atmosphere.
The moment you rise to Praise and Dance, the devil will flee in terror and become entangled in the very trap he sets for you.
It is those moments of weakness — when you feel tired or discouraged — that you must press into Praise and Dance the most!
Those are moments of the greatest Victory!
The enemy is never tired; he roams like a roaring lion. But he cannot prevail against you.. because I have told you to use your dancing as a weapon.
Do not neglect praise, worship, singing, and dancing before Me.
Such an atmosphere is a no-go zone for the enemy.”
Now this is the key:
“Always stay joyful!
Praise, worship, sing, and dance before The LORD — especially when you don’t feel like it!
That is when you need it the most!”
“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose.” Acts 16:25-26.
“As they began to sing and praise, The LORD set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.” 2 Chronicles 20:22.
“I will praise The LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises.” Psalm 34:1.
Shalom!

Amen! Last week, I danced myself into joy. I felt a heaviness break as I sang “I hear the chains falling”.
Hallelujah..!
Blessings to you Marilyn.
Thank you, Millicent. It is always helpful to get a response.
Hi, Millicent,
what you share here is such a wonderful confirmation for me at this time! We came home yesterday from getting to know a new prophetic friend who went through much trials while she received mighty Revelation from the Lord and is led to make prophetic acts about what happens spiritually. i shared a message about the difference between worship and adoration and the importance of dance, laid out and taught in the Bible…! You and another German Prophet confirmted right on the heels of that…Great!
Amen! That’s Amazing…how awesome is our God.
Blessings to you Dorothea.
