Your Salvation!
God brought you out to bring you in.
You are saved from slavery and brought out to enjoy the benefit of Salvation.
Some people were brought out, but never brought in. This is struggling life.
They are out of prison — yes — but are never actually free!
They don’t walk in the balance of the legal and vital aspects of Salvation.
Your legal aspect is what The Word says. It is vital that you actually manifest the realities of Salvation.
“And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that evil Merodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison, And spake kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon, and changed his prison garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life. And for his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the King of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.” Jeremiah 52:31-34.
Let us look at the lifting of King Jehoiachin, a captive of Babylonian’s cruel kingdom.
A day came that his head was lifted and was brought out of prison.
1: Your head has to be lifted to be saved. Lift your head up and see help that come from above.
“But you, LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high.” Psalm 3:3.
Acknowledge that God is the one who lifts you, and he will.
2: The king who had captured him also spoke kindly to him.
In our prison status, the Laws of God bound us to the life of defeat.
Redemption rekindles our relationship with God; He begin to speak kindly to us.
He says your sins will He remember no more!
He discloses his good plans he has for us…
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.
3: The prayer changes from needs to intimate communion.
God will forever speak to you kindly. He speak to you exactly the way He speak to His Son.
He doesn’t judge you or condemn you.
4: The king set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon.
This was another favour King Jehoiachin received.
His throne was exalted above the thrones of other kings. He was not just at the center of power but the real power.
That is what Christ has done to you.
“And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:6.
“And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.” Ephesians 1:22-24.
You are The Body of Christ. He rules alongside his body.
Today you reign above ordinary kings. Diseases are kings, poverty can be kings, afflictions, doubt and fear have some degree of rule on a Believer who doesn’t understand his kingly reign.
5: He changed his prison garments.
Garments are for identification. You are what your garments speak of you. We see that Joseph’s father made for him a tunic of many colours.
He was saying, “My I AM identifying you with this.”
He was saying that as long as this fabric is on you, it is declaring your future!
Garments are characters!
They form you after along period.
Jehoiachin didn’t have garment change while still in prison he had to go through a process.
Spiritually there are things that change with time until Christ is formed in you.
You are destined for garment change!
6: He did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life.
We see King Jehoiachin being considered better in what he eats, what he drinks and where he eats from.
Salvation benefit is so that you may have abundant life lacking nothing.
You are continually provided for. But you have to undergo processes to arrive at this lacking nothing status.
Trust the process, you have come out of the prison that is the most important thing.
This is what God will do for you. He brought you out to take you in not to be in the wilderness and die.
He has given you all things pertaining to life and Godliness.
Shalom,

Blessings to you Prophet Odhiambo.
