Forget the Past
“I have not forgotten you, but I have forgotten your past sins that I have blotted out,” says The LORD.
“They are forever forgiven as you have trusted in Me and My finished work on The Cross for you.
“Since I have done this for you, do not retain them by dwelling on the past. You cannot change anything.
“I did it for you. The enemy wants you to dwell on your past failures that will rob you of your present and future success.
“Keep your eyes fixed on Me and those things that are above. The enemy is underfoot.
“Every good gift is from above. The past is dead, buried, and removed. Don’t dig up those graves or revisit them,” says The LORD.
“Let the dead bury the dead,” says The LORD.
“You are dead to the world and all of its diabolical devices that are self-destructive. You are alive in me.
“Don’t waste your time, energy, and thoughts on the past, but use your strength to build what is eternal.
“Life is always ahead. Death and defeat are behind. Darkness is behind you, and the night is past.
“I have given you the light of a new day, and you are a child of light and of the day.
“I have renewed your strength, given you a fresh anointing, new vision, and continual grace and favor.
“Your destiny purpose is ahead, promising, purposeful, powerful, and productive. Look ahead and press forward,” says The LORD.
Prayer
Thank You LORD, that we can cast all our burdens and cares upon You, and You will carry them for us.
We do not have to handle things on our own, but You are always faithfully at our side.
We can depend upon Your Faithfulness.
You give us Your abiding peace as you still the winds of adversity and calm the storms of life, and we are safe in You at all times.
