Dry Places and Things

How The LORD shows up in dry places
Moses found out his true identity at the peak of his career.
He was in line to be king of Egypt. After finding out he was Hebrew — Moses did not pretend he had it all together. He surrendered to his true Calling.
Moses believed he could show loyalty to his people — by killing an Egyptian that was mistreating his fellow Hebrew brother.
The Pharaoh found out about Moses’ true identity and the murder of an Egyptian, so Moses fled to the back side of the desert in Midian.
By all account this was the worst time in Moses life. But this experience put him right into his purpose and God’s Plan.
During the time of Moses birth, a decree was put out by the Pharaoh to kill all male Hebrew boys. Moses mother used wisdom and hid him in the river.
The Pharaoh’s sister found Moses floating in the river and claimed him as her own. This is how Moses got in the palace. Your life is not a mistake!
Now Moses future hopes of ruling Egypt were drowned.
He left Egypt with regrets. And now Moses will come face to face in an encounter with God.
Aren’t you glad The LORD closed some doors in your life?
What is inconvenient to us is God’s perfect timing for breakthrough!
God used Moses to free a nation of His chosen people. He used him to perform miracles. He used him to put Satan on notice.
“He is The LORD our God; his judgments are in all the earth. Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word which he commanded to a thousand generations; even of the covenant which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac; and hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant, saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance; when ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it. And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people; He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes, saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.” 1 Chronicles 16:14-22.
Moses felt disconnected and cut off from life. God met Moses in his “Dry Place”. Out of the dry land came a new beginning.
“Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:16-17.
“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:18-19.

If you are screaming in your dry place — The LORD will reveal His burning bush.
Dry Place of disappointment to Burning Bush face to face encounter with God.
