  1. Amen Elizabeth.

Jesus wants us to go forth with no fear. I repent of ever being self-satisified with a Gospel for me and mine. We preach by faith and pray others will receive The Messiah by faith.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.  12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.  13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.  14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!  Romans 10:11-15

  2. Dear Mary –

Your posts are always rich & deep

On provoking the jew – pers.exp. My late husband, and his parents (who were Jewish holocaust survivors – had 44 hiding places under nazi rule), after meeting Christ during the hiding days of holocaust- after WW11 they came to USA, were missionary evangelists to unsaved Jews + church.

My late parents-in-law knew the jews needed the Messiah, and used understanding to do it.

Most believers do not know the jews history of 2,000 yrs, pograms, inquisitions, holocausts. Unsaved jews are wary b/c of this; Hitler put the cross ✝️ on the gates going into death camps.  Look at the anti-semitism calling for death to jews now. They’re wary of gentiles who proselytize- if our gospel rejects/kills them.

Missionaries in Israel now are loving/feeding/etc all. Babies were beheaded, daughters raped, elderly tortured during the massacre that began on October 7th.
Evangelism is hollow without the gospel having feet: food, H20, help.

I would imagine if I were African American during the 60s, the MLK days, segregation- I might mis-trust the white segment of society. Perspective.

The gentile Christian in the 1930s Holland- who took and hid little Elisabeth in (my mother-in-law) when the Nazi’s captured her parents- and they perished in Auschweitz, she came to Christ b/c she saw Jesus’ gospel was real. Thank you.
