“Therefore, angels are only servants — spirits sent to care for people who will inherit salvation,” Hebrews 1:14 (NLT).
Last Sunday after ministering in our home church I was approached by a woman in our congregation who operates in a prophetic seer anointing. She then said, “Kevin, as you were speaking and ministering, I saw in the Spirit that there were angels surrounding you and enclosed around you on every side.”
As she shared this with me, I found myself overly encouraged and so blessed that God would assign His heavenly servants to me personally. She then went on to prophesy, “The Lord says wherever you go, and when you are speaking, you are protected. You do not have to fear.” For those of you called by God, and sent out apostolically, to travel and minister internationally, you can understand the dangers of traveling into certain lands and territories.
As I was thinking on these things, I heard and sensed the Lord say,
“Remind My people that I have sent My heavenly messengers to be with them, surround them, and protect them.”
What a blessed assurance from the Lord that wherever we go we have been given divine protection by the Lord Himself through His heavenly agents! I believe in this time and season the Lord desires to subdue all fear in the hearts of His servants as they go forth doing what they are called to do extending and expanding the Kingdom of God. While the enemy wants to hold God’s sons and daughters captive to fear God is desiring to break off the chains of fear and remind His people that there are angels on assignment on their behalf.
In the realm of the spirit there is so much more happening than is realized. Aren’t we so thankful that not only have we been given the Gift of the Spirit of God but the Lord has also sent us His own personal servants out of His angelic army to come to our aid. I’m reminded of His glorious promise found in Psalm 34:7, ”The Angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them,” (HCSB). This very moment as you read this there are angels assigned just to you.
In this hour the Spirit of God wants to remind you of His precious promise towards you.
