Are YOU walking in Obedience?
So Samuel said:
“Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams,” 1 Samuel 15:22, NKJV.
My child, you are called to obedience. Obey My Word in all areas of your life and live. Seek Me and I will show you how you are to live in obedience. You may ask Me, “Why do you tell me this now?” It is because so many of My people claim to be waking in obedience, but they are deceived by following what they think is obedience.*
The poison of political correctness has diluted the meaning of obedience. If obedience is watered down to a manner of vague compliance, then the need to repent is diminished, too. Conviction of sin must be avoided by relabeling sin and redefining obedience. All of this is done to feed the appetite of the flesh (carnal nature) and to keep the people of God in bondage. Yes, many who sit in pews on Sunday are in bondage to the spirit of this age, but do not realize it.
I am coming to remove the scales from the eyes of these deceived ones. There is a shaking that is at the door, so prepare now by judging your motives, thoughts, and beliefs against the Standard of My Word. Take nothing for granted, but in everything through prayer bring the thoughts and intents of your heart to Me. I will show you what needs to be corrected and what needs to be strengthened.
If you will do this, then I will use you to help many people through the days of shaking. I have a remnant that will go before and make provisions and places of refuge. The refuges may be physical, but most importantly there is a need for spiritual refuges. Yes, places where the sweet and untainted Word of God is not only preached and taught, but demonstrated in daily life.
Obedience is preferred over sacrifice or religious programs. Lip service won’t prosper in these days. My life and My Word must be followed and openly demonstrated in your everyday affairs. The hour is late and it is time for My people to grow up. No more eating baby food, it is time to dine on the strong meat of the full Gospel.
Fear not! I AM with you to show you how to live. Surrender all to Me so I can take you to the higher ground in My Spirit. Receive My strength and blessings for you will need it for the work ahead. Shalom.
You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food. For someone who lives on milk is still an infant and doesn’t know how to do what is right. Solid food is for those who are mature, who through training have the skill to recognize the difference between right and wrong, Hebrews 5:12-14, NLT.
*Obedience: a bending to the authority or control of another; a readiness or willingness to yield to the wishes of others; the following of a custom, rule, or law
