Ask for The Anointing!
Brothers and sisters, aren’t you glad that The Holy Spirit does the Anointing now?
In Old Testament times, a person would have to be anointed by a man sent by God. Ohhhh, not so now, Child of God.
When Jesus rose from the dead, He sent The Anointer, The Holy Spirit, to be with us and dwell in us.
No more waiting for a man or woman to obey God. (And sometimes fail) Oh no. The Third Person of the Godhead comes to anoint you now! Just ask! Ask and you shall receive!
The skies are DRIPPING with anointing! Like RAIN, He comes to us! I just see a Beautiful Thick Rain, like Honey from heaven falling on His people as you lift your heart and hands to Him!
“Beloved. My Desire is that you prosper even as your soul prospers. You need the Baptism of The Holy Spirit.
As they gathered in the Upper Room to receive, so I come to you now, wherever you are. I have sent the Anointer to accomplish this.
Your Savior is your Baptizer. You no longer need a man to anoint you, but I shall anoint you.
The Skies of Majesty are dripping with Anointing. It falls upon My Children as you seek Me. Ask and you shall receive.
All those who ask shall receive. Press on to know Me, My Love, follow Me, for My Going Forth is prepared as the Dawn — and I come to you as the Rain, as the Latter and former Rain unto the earth.
Your Love for Me and your praise and worship draws the Anointing from on High. You are irresistible to Me, My Bride.
You have come into the Inner Sanctum through the Veil of My Flesh. You in Me and I in you. We are One.
Do you smell the Sweet Incense of My Love for you? You shall reap the Fruit of My Loving Devotion.
Righteousness has fallen like Rain through the Son. The Anointing destroys every yoke. It is the Precious Fruit of Heaven.
It covers and protects and strengthens and emboldens. You are kissed with the Honey of Heaven from the Lips of the Son.
Because of the fragrance of My Good Ointments, My Name is like Perfume poured out, like Ointment poured forth.
I AM faithful who promised you. My Precious Rain brings Joy and Healing and Peace of Mind. It is like a River of Sweet Honey flowing from My Throne of Grace.
Liquid Myrrh drips from My Head to yours. The Sweet Spices of Heaven fall upon you. Let My Oil of Joy renew and refresh you.
Your lips drop Sweetness as the honeycomb, My Bride. Milk and Honey are under your tongue.
As you receive the Anointing, I shall cover you from head to toe. Smell the Sweet fragrance of Christ.
Even now, I AM touching your senses to see and hear and smell and to taste the things of heaven.
I will leave no place untouched. Feel the Sweet Devotion of your Savior. As I pour out upon you and in you, so also shall you pour out on others. Abide in Me.
Everywhere you go, you shall leave Footprints of Anointing. Oh Beloved, one day you shall see those who were blessed because they walked in your Path.
They shall walk in the wake of the your Anointing that destroys every yoke. They shall taste and see that The LORD is good.
Rejoice, for it is the time of the Latter Rain!
And now, My Love, keep looking to the Author and Perfecter of your faith. Open for Me, My Spouse, My Love, My Dove, My Perfect One — for My Head is covered with DEW, My locks with the DROPS of the night.
Be confidant of this — I AM crowning your year with My Goodness, and your paths shall DRIP with abundance!”
DRIPPING : Strong’s Hebrew 5197: to drop, drip, distil, PROPHESY, preach, discourse.
MYRRH: Strong’s Hebrew 4753: Sacred Oil, Perfume, flowing incense. Representative of Jesus’ death and burial.
HONEY : Strong’s Hebrew 1706: Honeycomb – literally, “Thy lips distill a dropping (of pure honey)” Sweetness of taste, honey both from fruits and bees. Pleasant words. Anointing. Prosperity.
DEW : Strong’s Hebrew 2919: Light RAIN, night mist, coming from the sky bringing refreshment and prosperity, the heavens distill it, it covers the head, remains through the night. (©Biblehub)

(The gold, as mentioned before, suggested His royalty as King of the Jews and Lord of lords. In the frankincense, they saw His divinity. The MYRRH represented His humanity – and that to the fullest extent because myrrh suggests death and burial. Thus, the gifts came to show Jesus as King, God, and Man.)

A bit over 20 years ago, I went to a special night event at my Church. We had a man there who would pray over people to release the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and most would fall to the ground…(catcher’s were provided of course)!! He had us stand in a line, side by side, and he would walk down the line and put his hands on us while speaking in other tongues. I was close to the end. I conversed within with the Holy Spirit while I waited, and I told Him if He doesn’t push me over or speak Tongues through me I wouldn’t make it up and act like He did!! Well…He didn’t, so I didn’t. This frustrated the man and he pushed and pushed but I stood.
I went home that night in tears and told my husband what happened. After, while my husband was showering, the Holy Spirit spoke and told him to tell me that when HE want me to go down I will. I was so releaved…sheesh!!
It hasn’t happened yet, and until it does I’ll go down for no man!!
This Word has so encouraged me Deborah.
I’ll wait patiently for Him to act, for He who promised is truly Faithful!!

Cherish, you are not alone! This November will be 20 years since I got my deliverance and baptized in a little Pentecostal church, where the power of God was so evident. I prayed, the Pastor prayed, and sometimes I felt inadequate listening to others speaking in tongues, and even to this day I do not speak in tongues – but what was most evident in my life, was the Power of God. I prayed for many people who got their healing, especially children as I cried out to God on their behalf from damaged knees to migraine etc. I also became heavily involved in tntercession, and there was not a night that goes by that I wasn’t getting a dream for individuals and the church, and until God slowed that down to focus on my Destiny because of the heavy warfare involved. And perhaps I may never speak in tongues, but what I do know is that the Purpose on my life is a great one, and not having that gift does not interfere with it; and that is also the Lord’s doing. Hope my response helps you even if we still doesn’t receive that gift :)
