Shared from — “Called to Walk Alone”
“Some years ago The LORD shared a unique parable with me …
He showed me a little fish in a fish bowl. The fish was much smaller than the bowl and so it was very happy living in its environment.
However over some time the fish began to grow and suddenly he became aware that there were some unseen “barriers” in his bowl that he had never previously come to notice before.
He could see past these “invisible barriers”, but he could not swim towards what he saw. Soon he felt very uncomfortable and it seemed that he could not move anywhere except for bumping into these restrictions, and he became a very unhappy fish!
One day, not too long after that, he was transferred into a bigger fish tank — and oh, what a pleasure it was!
This new tank was everything he had dreamed of. He had enough room to swim and explore and he felt completely free.
As time passed however, he began to grow again, and it was not long before the fish had again outgrown the new bigger tank and those “invisible barriers” seemed to have reappeared out of nowhere!
This process kept repeating itself as the fish kept growing and growing, and was moved from tank to tank — until one day when he finally ended up in an aquarium — and oh, how marvelous it was!
He finally had all the space he could ever desire to have, and a tank that he could explore without ever touching one of those invisible barriers again. Or so he thought!
It was only a matter of time before he discovered that he was a whale! Pretty soon the huge aquarium tank was far too small and he felt restricted all over again!
This time he could see a vast open space in front of him, just ahead of those “invisible barriers”, but again, he could not swim towards what he saw.
Then on one sunny day he was finally set free and released into the ocean and came to discover what he had been created for all along!
He was finally free to explore the entire ocean! Never again to be restricted. Never again would he run into any invisible barriers — he was forever free! Free to explore an unending ocean of wonder!
The LORD said to me, “This is exactly what most of My Children experience!
They begin in a Church which seems to be a place of complete freedom, until they begin to grow, sooner or later to discover the “invisible barriers” of doctrines of religion and the traditions of men appearing out of seemingly nowhere, placing restrictions upon them in their journey with Me.
They soon transfer to a new “tank” and in doing so, rediscover their joy. Until they begin to grow in My Spirit again, and low and behold, soon they are back to feeling restricted all over again!
This process of growth and discomfort continues, until one day they finally arrive at the place of My Grace, where they discover their creation purpose was never to be confined to a religious “tank” — and where they discover that there is an “ocean” of freedom to discover in My Spirit!
On that sunny day, they enter the freedom and the liberty they were created for — to explore all of Me, unrestricted and free from the opinions and influence of religion, doctrines and the traditions of men!”
This book puts a seal on this parable! It is going to share the heart of the Father and the Truth that is going to provide you with the opportunity to discover your “ocean” in God!
It is going to free you from the judgement and guilt that religion and religious leaders want to place on you for swimming free and for breaking out of everything that would hold you back from coming to swim in deep Waters with the Holy Spirit!
It is not a book for the rebellious, but for the those who are hungry and who are ready to take the leap of faith and to walk on water with Jesus in the experience of exploring a new miraculous Life!
It reaffirms the true Message of the New Testament — the Message which calls on us to “make disciples” (personal followers) of Jesus.
To teach them how to grow into a deep, precious and intimate relationship with the Father for themselves.
It teaches us to teach men to walk free from depending upon people and things to grow, and to learn to live inwardly, discovering God living on the inside of them, Who seeks to lead them, have communion with them and “teach them all things”.
It refocuses the task of every person in ministry — to lead men into a relationship that will cause them to mature in Christ as He takes on full stature in them, until we all grow into the full measure of His Being, radiantly expressed in us and through us in this world!
It tells us that we are not called to gather saints – but to mature and send missionaries of the Holy Spirit into this world!
Enjoy every moment as you read and may every shackle fall from your life as you do! …”
