There’s a scene of tremendous uproar. Nations are in uproar, Kingdoms falling. How true that is today but, in the midst of it, God’s voice speaks forth.

God never makes one person a carbon copy of another.  God has a specific, individual plan for each one of His children.

Notice that first word: “Delight yourself.” I heard someone once ask this question of a group of people: “Do you enjoy your religion, or do you endure it?

What could be more of a root problem in our lives than our battle with pride?

Do you ever struggle with stubbornness?  You know — those times when it’s clear you should change your mind about an issue, but you just can’t?

That’s a marvelous statement to come from a man’s lips at any time.  “I will extol the Lord at all times; His praise will always be on my lips.”

Ever since human history began men have speculated as to the origin of the universe in which we live. What is the first cause? How did it all come into being?
