Is there anything you can learn about the word “focus”?
Focus means: “Te center of interest or activity; the state or quality of having or producing clear visual definition”….
To “focus”, a person who believes in God needs:
To exclude obvious distractions.
To exclude subtle distractions.
To make unhindered decisions.
To pinpoint an objective.
To believe the Word of God.
To believe the truth.
To see things in light of the truth.
To gather truthful information to point to a conclusion.
To rally the troops for the battle at hand.
To sow your life into the Lord’s Glory.
To harken to the Voice of the Lord.
To know that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil.
To humble yourself and pray and seek His Face.
To listen for the Lord’s Voice.
To obey His Voice.
To receive the vision God has for you.
To believe He wants to manifest His Life through your life.
To stand upon the ramparts to see what He will say to you.
To humble yourself in the sight of the Lord so He will lift you up.
To love and be loved.
To discern good from evil, right from wrong…
To be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
To receive the wisdom from above that is pure and peaceable..
To be filled with the Holy Spirit..
To pray in the Spirit..
To have an answer to why you believe in God’s promises..
To have an awareness of the Lord’s Presence…
To know that His higher thoughts will be replacing yours..
To focus on the things that are above..
To study to show yourself approved..
To write the vision so that those who run may read it.
To believe that He has called you for such a time as this.
To know that you are His beloved.
To know that the Gifts and calling of God are irrevocable.
To know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge.
“Being confident (focused) on this very thing that He Who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ,” Philippians 1:6 KJV.
“Now to Him Who is able to do far more abundantly above all we could ask or think, according to the power that is at work within us, unto Him will be all the Glory in the church. Now and forever. Amen,” Ephesians 3:20 NASB.
