Do Not Become Bitter and Resentful! — 2 Comments

  1. I have a question: Could God promise you something and then turn around and shut the door on that promise. I know that he is God and he does what he desires. But if he promised it and spoke it, would he shut that door even though he spoke it.

  2. “Sarah chose to give her servant Hagar to Abraham, in accordance with the custom of that day”

No, there are nothing in God’s Word which is ‘in accordance with any ‘custom’ of any of humans days’.

This is not critisism against christians but christians must stop to read God’s Word as if God did need to first see what ‘custom’ man had before He could speak His Word an write it down.

There is a verse in Joshua 1:8 which says “the book of this law doth not depart out of thy mouth, and thou hast meditated in it by day and by night”

This means that we shall not let any of God’s Word depart from our mouth until the Spirit of Truth has interpret the meaning of it. Every ‘self made’ thought apart from revelation is actually a lie about what God says and from the flesh.
