Dream: I Give You What I Have

Remember what Peter said to the lame man in Acts 3?

“What I do have I give you…” Acts 3:6.

It’s going to be just like that, and more than that — “in demonstration of THE SPIRIT, and of power“, “in mighty signs and wonders by The Power of THE HOLY SPIRIT.” (1 Corinthians 2:4; Romans 15:19).

Yes, all over the world, we will be,

“explaining and demonstrating that THE CHRIST had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, ‘This JESUS Whom I preach to you is THE CHRIST.’” Acts 17:3.

THE HOLY SPIRIT demonstrated this reality in a dream I had on 26 December 2021.

A quick note needs to be given here before narrating the dream.

Explainer

Hyde Park Corner is a notable junction of six major roads in the southeastern corner of Hyde Park, a popular large royal park in Central London. It’s near Buckingham Palace.

Knightsbridge is a very affluent suburb of London.

Victoria is a busy major transport hub and upmarket suburb in Central London.

Now the dream

I was walking in London — in a place called Hyde Park Corner (Knightsbridge end), I was crossing the road in the direction of Victoria. (It is not an approved pedestrian crossing in the natural). There were a few other pedestrians around me.

A stocky man, likely a Macedonian, was just ahead of me crossing the road.

Suddenly, he, standing on the tarred road surface, turned around to me while I was standing on the rugged raised middle concrete pavement, and said to me: “There’s something about you. I want what you have.”

Relishing the opportunity with discerning delight and calm Spiritual authority, I put my right hand on his left shoulder and prayed for him to receive CHRIST.

Immediately, he started jolting and shaking exceedingly with The POWER of CHRIST.

Mistakenly, I thought he would go on and fall on the ground under The Power.

But this didn’t happen.

I quickly corrected myself and thought: “That’s how JESUS wanted it.” And I headed toward Victoria.

End of dream.

Interpretation

Hyde Park Corner is a genius pun by THE HOLY SPIRIT for the word ‘hide’ (animal skin), meaning being in a place of sacrifice, that is, being ready to sacrifice ourselves for CHRIST – to use us for whatever, wherever, whenever, however.

“For The Love of CHRIST compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him Who died for them and rose again.” 2 Corinthians 5:14-15.

“For we are His workmanship, created in CHRIST JESUS for good works, which GOD prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:10.

Near Buckingham Palace : To do the greater works, we must always be by (in) The Secret Place of THE MOST HIGH, The Dwelling Place of “The Blessed and ONLY Sovereign” (1 Timothy 6:15), THE KING OF GLORY, waiting on Him and going by His Direction like Philip in Acts 8 when he ministered so dramatically to the eunuch with amazing results.

“But it is good for me to draw near to GOD: I have put my trust in THE LORD GOD, that I may declare all thy works.” Psalm 73:28.

“Draw near to GOD and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” James 4:8.

“Knightsbridge end”: Those who wait on THE LORD and are endued with POWER (knighted by JESUS) — Luke 24:49; Acts 1:8 — will minister The Power.

Unapproved/ unofficial crossing : In our walk in THE SPIRIT, we will be led by THE LORD in ways not ‘approved by the man-made traditions and practices of The Church today.

We must take heed not to miss His Ways.

Macedonian man : We would often come across total strangers who need our help to come to JESUS.

“And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Acts 16:9.

Walking toward Victoria : When we walk in obedience of THE SPIRIT, we will always do great exploits for THE LORD with VICTORIOUS authority over all the power of the enemy, (Luke 10:19).

We must hear and obey like Philip: “Then The Spirit said to Philip, “Go near and overtake this chariot.” (Acts 8:29).

My mistaken expectation : In the coming Move of GOD, The Manifestation of THE SPIRIT will not be according to our knowledge of how things should be — by ‘churchy‘ knowledge.

But only by what and how THE SPIRIT decides. And we must be quick to yield to THE SPIRIT.

As mentioned in my introduction, the whole interaction and ministry in the dream reminded me of what transpired at The Beautiful Gate when Peter and John ministered to the lame man:

“What I do have, I give you.” Acts 3:6.

 

“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.

Jacob, an apostle of JESUS CHRIST by The Will of GOD, according to The Promise of Life which is in CHRIST JESUS, (2 Timothy 1:1).
Like John, I like to put my head to The Heart of JESUS so as to know and do His Will always. What’s in His Heart is what matters now and FOREVER. His Heart’s Desire is my only desire.
As John was, I am the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20)
And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
NB. Surely, “the disciple whom JESUS loves” and “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS”, like ALL The Promises of GOD, are available to every believer to obtain, just as John and Paul did.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
