England and Dispensations of Glory — 3 Comments

  1. The name commemorates the Battle of Trafalgar (1805), a British naval victory of the Napoleonic Wars. The original name was to have been “King William the Fourth’s Square”, but George Ledwell Taylor suggested the name “Trafalgar Square”.

Within Trafalgar Square is a statue , atop a column of Admiral Nelson. That is 170 feet (52 m) with a shaft of 98 feet (30 m) .

Admiral Nelson had and commandeered a flagship in that Battle of Trafalgar … the ships name was
    VICTORY.  HMS VICTORY.

HMS VICTORY is the ONLY surviving ship that fought in 3 wars. The Napoleonic War, The French Revolutionary War and the American War of Independence.

  2. Powerful word, Pris. He is rebuking, loving, and challenging us all right before the big showdown. I liked this “Yet perversion has wrapped around the hearts of some men and women to make them think that they can be gods in their own right.” Thanks for sharing. xoxo Sandi
