In Great Distress…. — 4 Comments

  1. You do realize sins separates us from God. Once a child of God, always a child off God is a false teaching to give sinners security.  At anytime we can choose to lose our salvation by our actions. This hyper grace movement that is moving across the nation is enabling many to live in sin with the belief that they are saved. Churches are full of Luke warm Christians who just want to be entertained and then we tell them it’s all ok nothing you do will separate you from God. No wonder the church has no powers or authority.

    • Amen. Sin is a reproach, and disgrace to any people, (Proverbs 14:34). Sin is a serious matter, and is actually disobedience and rebellion, against the Authority of Almighty God. We are also called to be conformed to the image (Pattern) of Christ Jesus, (Romans 8:29). Therefore, to practice living in sin, is failure to experience being conformed to Christ Jesus, The Lord. We should seek to walk in the Spirit, and not live according to the sinful impulses, that seek expression, through our bodies.

    • I think that this message is for those who have already died in Christ. They have put away their earthly nature. They have moved on and live maturely in the knowledge and will of the Lord. Of course they know that sin separates from God! It’s all a matter of perspective and if you’re not there yet of course you’re going to misunderstand.
