Lead in Peace
Jesus brought me to Luke 10:5 to help correct and boost our relationships.
The story is about Jesus sending out 70 people to do ministry and says:
“But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.” Luke 10:5.
The first thing the 70 men were supposed to do is bless the people in the house.
Why? Because peace rules. Peace will open the doors to better relationships.
Jesus is instructing us to lead with peace and not with frustration or wanting to argue.
Some have a pistol in their holder and their hand is always on the trigger, anxious to pull it out of the holster and fire.
But in dealing with people, Jesus is wanting us to look through the lens of love and peace and not frustration and criticism.
The Holy Spirit says this: “Listen My people for I want you to behave well.
I want you to understand that your actions matter and people are looking at how you behave. Honor Me with your words and your actions.
You will see a shift in your life and in your relationships when you lead with My Peace.
Do not be so quick to attack others or criticize. But he slow to speak and quick to understand. Be kind and patient.
When you do this you will see people be less hostile to you. Your relationships will grow and you will see more fruit.
You will honor Me and I will be well pleased.
Peace! My people. Peace!
Good things happen when you live and walk in My peace.”
