LORD, Help My Unbelief
I heard The LORD say, “To them who believe!”
“Mary Magdalene Sees the Risen LORD
“Now when He rose early on the first day of the week, He appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom He had cast seven demons. She went and told those who had been with Him, as they mourned and wept. And when they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, they did not believe.”
Jesus Appears to Two Disciples
“After that, He appeared in another form to two of them as they walked and went into the country. And they went and told it to the rest, but they did not believe them either.”
The Great Commission
“Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Christ Ascends to God’s Right Hand
“So then, after The LORD had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out and preached everywhere, The LORD working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.” Mark 16:9-20.
Ever had a moment when you felt your heart stop beating?
Not because the heart is defective or you are having a heart attack — but because of disbelief.
“It is a moment where you have the correct answer and know what to say, but cannot say a word. These are the times we step back and let The LORD fight our battles.” 2 Chronicles 20:17.
“Words can bring pain that are injurious to the soul and spirit. Although the words may not be introduced as personal crucifixion, one feels the nail scarred pain of Jesus.” Proverbs 18:21, James 3:1-10.
“Whenever I hear words in opposition to faith and the authority of God’s Word – my heart stops beating.” Hebrews 4:11-12.
A person told me that God does not use man to heal.
This person stated healing gifts left the earth with the Apostles and so did speaking in tongues.
This person said Paul was the last Apostle that worked in the Gifts of Healing.
This person told me he/ she attended faith/ healing meetings when they were young and no one ever got healed.
They farther stated that God works through doctors and medicine for healing today.
The last statement uttered was, “Jesus is the only one who heals.”
I do not disagree with the last statement.
Bitter Waters Made Sweet
“So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?” So he cried out to The LORD, and The LORD showed him a tree. When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.
There He made a statute and an ordinance for them, and there He tested them, and said, “If you diligently heed the voice of The LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I AM The LORD who heals you.”” Exodus 15:22-26.
Praise for The LORD’s Mercies
A Psalm of David.
“Bless The LORD, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name!
Bless The LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:1-5.
This person is almost totally incapacitated because of physical pain and illness.
I have been praying for this person and knew there was a hindrance. My heart dropped to my feet when I heard these words (the gifts of healing and speaking in tongues have left the earth).
I wanted to say all the Scriptures on Faith and Healing that i knew. I wanted to counteract negative words spoken.
I wanted to give my personal testimony of healing by “The Laying on of Hands” — but The LORD bridled my mouth.
“The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” Jeremiah 31:3.
“I thank God for the mercy He sent this morning. It was needed for me and the person who lacked faith. Thank God that He sends enough mercy everyday for us to apply into the lives of others.” Isaiah 54:7-8.
The LORD gave me to pray for this person to help their unbelief.
“Then one of the crowd answered and said, “Teacher, I brought You my son, who has a mute spirit. And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid. So I spoke to Your disciples, that they should cast it out, but they could not.”
He answered him and said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I [b]bear with you? Bring him to Me.” Then they brought him to Him. And when he saw Him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.
So He asked his father, “How long has this been happening to him?”
And he said, “From childhood. And often he has thrown him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if You can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “LORD, I believe; help my unbelief!”
When Jesus saw that the people came running together, He rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, “Deaf and dumb spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more!” Then the spirit cried out, convulsed him greatly, and came out of him. And he became as one dead, so that many said, “He is dead.” But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him up, and he arose.
And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast it out?”
So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but Prayer and Fasting.”” Mark 9:17-29.
My Daily Devotional Lesson blessed me today.
It was about “Differences, and how to properly handle differences with others”.
These are the scriptures attached to my devotional.
“Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our LORD Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” 1 Corinthians 1:10.
“For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.” Romans 12:4-5.
“Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.” 2 Corinthians 13:11.
Thank God I did not have to prove how smart I am or how many Bible Scriptures I know.
I saw the spirit of doubt and unbelief.
“And The LORD said, Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.“ Matthew 17:21.
Peace Out,
The Blessing of The LORD Be upon You,
Blessings,
