Mighty Oaks From Little Acorns Grow

In the broadcast (above) I posted in May 2020, I spoke about the coming move of God being like an Acorn.

In The United Kingdom, that’s an Oak Tree seed of no more than about half-an-inch in height [1.2cm] which, in time, grows to become a huge and mighty oak tree often growing to over 100 feet high with a similarly huge spread.

Hence the phrase, “Mighty oaks from little acorns grow”!

I believe that Pentecost 2020 saw a tiny acorn of Revival sown by The LORD in The United Kingdom, America, and many other places around the world.

In my broadcast, I spoke of my own experience in planting an Acorn and the result I managed to get from that planting.

The first thing that happened is that the Acorn germinated properly and threw out a first root, the tap root, before showing any growth above ground.

I discovered that the tap root goes deep, very deep considering the size of the sapling — as much as was showing above ground, ten times that was growing below ground! (I found that out when I decided I didn’t really want an oak tree in my garden — it was, after all, at least two inches tall and had its first leaf!)

The point The LORD is showing us is that growth is slow and sure, but doesn’t really start until it’s deeply and securely rooted.

So it is with revival today!

That seed which He planted in 2020 is just beginning to show growth — having first laid a root platform to grow from!

There are signs of that new growth all over the place.

Young people coming to The LORD in droves —- all night praise and prayer gatherings — signs of growth and Holy Spirit manifestation in England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.

In America, someone joked, they must have more fertile ground as revival is poking its head through in many places — again, especially among the young on university campuses all round the country.

They are ahead of The United Kingdom, and most other ‘western’ countries in receiving revival, although they are well behind Iran, Afghanistan, and China where revival is gloriously rampant — hallelujah!

Also the Muslim world is being shaken to its core by ‘the man in white’ who is appearing to thousands daily and calling them to Christ!

God’s Acorn seed of Revival is planted! It has taken root, and it is growing faster than we either realise or imagine.

God is honouring honest inquiries and the prayers of faithful believers.

Pray believing, keep your hearts open, and receive whatever The Holy Spirit brings — just don’t try and force it or falsify it for God is a jealous God who doesn’t bless or tolerate fakes!
