My Blessing is Tied to a Promise
I heard The LORD say, “I AM The LORD God Who healeth thee! (Exodus 15:26)
Show unconditional Love.
Show him My Faith.
Show him The Truth.
Show him how to make The Word of God come alive with all of its Truths.
Be fruitful and multiply!”
He was giving me directives on an assignment of ministering to a person walking in doubt and unbelief.
The LORD introduced Himself as a Healer. By His introduction, I believe we receive healing through obedience, longsuffering, humility, surrendering our agendas, motives, and will over to God’s perfect Plan.
The LORD is telling me to follow His Commands and Instructions.
The purpose is to win a brother who walks in deception and spiritual blindness. Thank you Lord! (2 Kings 6:15-20)
So many times Christians make spiritual battles about themselves and in efforts to prove we are faithful believers that know The Word of God, we wound baby Christians.
Often times, offenses arise instead of bringing conviction of spiritual truths. (Luke 17:1)
The children of Israel were celebrating a great victory in Exodus 15:1-26 when The LORD delivered them from a horrible life of bondage.
After receiving freedom from Egypt, Pharoah decided he wanted the Israelite slaves back under his command and so he chased after them in an effort to regain control.
God drowned the Egyptians in the Red Sea. (Exodus 14:1-31)
Victory celebrations rallied all around the camp as the Israelites danced and sang praises to God.
Father God wanted the Israelites to maintain their focus, service, and loyalty to “The True and Living God” so He put a Contractual Agreement in place.
“So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water. And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink? And he cried unto The LORD; and The LORD shewed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them, and said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of The LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am The LORD that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:22-26.
The Israelites healing was tied to their obedience, loyalty, and faithfulness.
In order to receive their blessings — it was necessary to enter into Covenant Relationship with The LORD.
Covenant, is when one or more parties exchange promises – A Promise for a Promise.
Which is greater the promise or the blessing? One does not work without the other.
The LORD is always healing and delivering people, yet we humans sometimes forget the faithfulness of The LORD, and go back to our old ways and behaviors.
God made His commitment to a Nation of people and many witnessed the promises of God, so none of the Israelites could say, “I forgot what He said”.
I confess that I have failed in some of my commitments to The LORD and I did not keep my parts in Covenant Agreement. Forgive me LORD Jesus!
We need healing and deliverance everyday and I am before The LORD for healing in specific areas of my life.
He has put me in a position to bring a person out of darkness and if I value my life and healing — I will follow the instruction of The LORD!
Go back over your relationship with The LORD!
Have you failed in your part of the agreement?
Repent — and move forward!
“A Psalm of David. Bless The LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless The LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” Psalm 103:1-5.
Peace Out,
The Blessing of The LORD Be upon You,
Blessings,
