My King Lives In My Heart!
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
My King Lives In My Heart!
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift
For my King lives in my heart
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift
For my King has given me everlasting Life
Unspeakable joy!
Unspeakable love!
Treasure beyond gold and silver
Treasure that will never rust or rot
Oh my King lives in my heart!
He is never far
He never sleeps nor slumbers
He has plans for me to prosper
His Name I utter in Holy Reverence
He is my treasure and I am His
He is my source of Peace
By showing me His Heart, He teaches me all things
Oh my King lives in my heart
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift
For my King lives in my heart
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift
For my King has given me everlasting Life
Unspeakable joy!
Unspeakable love!
Treasure beyond gold and silver
Treasure that will never rust or rot
Oh my King lives in my heart!
He swells up in me
Like a wave
He swells up in me
Like a rushing stream
He swells up in me
Bubbling with a Love so sweet
Making me forget everything but He
Oh my King lives in my heart!
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift
For my King lives in my heart
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift
For my King has given me everlasting Life
Unspeakable joy!
Unspeakable love!
Treasure beyond gold and silver
Treasure that will never rust or rot
Oh my King lives in my heart!
Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable Gift!
“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:15 KJV.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21.
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.” Matthew 13:44.
“And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”” Luke 12:15.
“Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you. “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Luke 12:31-34.
“But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world. But if we have food and clothing, with these we will be content. But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation, into a snare, into many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs.” 1 Timothy 6:6-10.
“As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life.” 1 Timothy 6:17-19.
“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” Colossians 3:1-2.
“Nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There!’ for behold, the kingdom of God is in the midst of you.”” Luke 17:21.
