Oh Lord God, Forgive Us!

2 Words in 1

Have You Walked This Way Before!

Have you walked this way before, where the journey is quite long, taking you through life’s battles as you ache for your heavenly home.

Knowing that the supply given unto you is full of God’s grace, as you go your course and seek great love wanting to see Him face to face.

The stirring inside of you creates sparks and a fire is ablaze on the altar of your heart, knowing the greatest victory you will see so on the journey where you start.

Your hopes are high and your eyes open wide, knowing that you are not alone but Christ Jesus is by your side.

The greatest strength of God’s love overflows throughout your being, as veils are removed from the eyes of your heart, you know Christ Jesus is worth all the seeing.

It is the brightness of His appearing that you long for as on the road to Damascus with Paul, hoping to see that great glory not for yourself only but for all those in Christ Jesus, who are His all in all.

It is this great love for yourself and others that has been lit in your heart, as the Master (God Almighty) has chosen you and set you apart.

It is His love worth finding that you have sought and now found, as you proclaim heaven’s glory and resound!

Oh Lord God, Forgive Us!

Lord God, we pray that you keep our conscience clean, where we have allowed the things of this world to attach to it.

We pray that you remove it by the power of Your Word, which is a sword to pull back the flap of our skin and reveal that which we are unable to perceive, even in our own heart!

Forgive us for longing for the things of this world, not caring whether or not people were going to hell, while we pursue our own selfish ambitions!

Forgive us for not looking for Your Son’s appearing, and keeping watch, so that we would feed the supply of your word in this hour for those in need, so that they get the meat of the word!

Forgive us for not praying and seeking you as we should, where we have allowed the entertainment and distractions of this age to come around us!

Forgive us for not fasting for souls to come into the Kingdom and holding onto the plate of food that so easily pleases our own belly, so much so that we have numbed our souls and drowned our spirits to the voice of the lost!

Forgive us for accepting pleasing messages that make us shout and get excited, always wanting to be in a place of celebration, when we have not entered a house of mourning for souls!

Forgive us your ministers, for seeking to be celebrities in the pulpit and on TV, when we have fallen away from you and have left our first love!

Forgive us for always looking for a word of blessing rather than to seek you in humility to see where we might be a blessing!

Forgive us oh God, and where we have left you and sought that which satisfies us!

Forgive us I pray oh Lord God for we have left you and have sought to build cisterns for ourselves and filled it up with that which did not satisfy!

I pray that you visit us again, as you cause our hearts to forgive those who did trespass against us!  As you fill our hearts with love and our eyes with tears!

This I pray LORD God and I pray you answer me!

A heart seeking!
