Owe No Man Anything Except to Love Him
Never Be Moved by Obligation
God spoke to me one day out of Romans 13:8, as I was being pressured into something that I felt obligated to do by a spirit of religion.
“Owe no man any thing but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.”
He then said to me, “Never be moved by obligation. It is religion if you do. It is also a man pleasing spirit.. only be moved by My Spirit!
Also, the person pressuring you is being moved by a controlling or possibly even a Jezebel Spirit.”
Compassion Not Pressure
When Jesus did mighty works He was “Moved With Compassion,” He did not do anything until He saw His father doing it.
Until we come out of this man pleasing spirit we will never do the works of Jesus. Jesus has delivered us from dead works!
Obligation will cause you to do things and you will feel aggravated and resentful eventually. Compassion is the love of God rising up in you and overwhelming you to the point that you will move with a passionate fire inside against what the enemy has done to others… You will be overwhelmed to act on Jesus behalf to set them free.
Repent of Dead Works
“How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” Hebrews 9:14.
“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from DEAD WORKS, and of faith toward God,” Hebrews 6:1.
Stop Being Made Guilty by Your Works
Doing things out of a feeling of obligation is DEAD WORKS. This scripture says we have been delivered from them by the blood of Christ. “He has purged our conscience from dead works.”
We should not go around always feeling guilty about something that we “Should have done” If you go around with this guilty feeling all the time and doing everything you do because you “should” then you haven’t repented of man pleasing and therefore are operating by your guilt ridden conscience!
God wants us to be free to “serve the living God,” not everyone else or else they have become your God! So…. ..
“Owe no man anything except to love Him” It will set you free to be all that God wants you to be today!
His Glory Is Shining Through Us in Tangible Ways
Every step we take in obedience to God is our suffering for Him and every time we suffer with Him and do His will instead of obeying the flesh, more Glory comes forth from us. The Bible is full of these examples.
For example when Stephen was speaking to the Sanhedrin when He was about to become a martyred.
“Then all who sat in the council (Sanhedrin), as they gazed intently at Stephen, saw that his face had the appearance of the face of an angel,” Acts 6:15 (AMPC).
You see when we allow the Lord to do His will through us and lay down our own will, then He will begin to radiate through us in such a way that His Glory will be tangible to those around us! God is about to show forth His Glory in all who have been patiently doing His will!
“For I consider [from the standpoint of faith] that the sufferings of the present life are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us!” Romans 8:18 (AMP).
For all that have been suffering for the sake of the Gospel. His Glory is about to shine from you in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation! His Glory is seeping through your pores as you suffer with Him and many will be drawn to the light of God that is shining through you!
We are seeing His Glory in tangible ways break forth from His people filled with the Holy Spirit!
It is happening in spite of the naysayers! They have come too late for me to say it is not real! His Glory is real and like Stephen we will die declaring it if we must because we know even beyond this life there is an even greater glory to be seen!
“For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising,” Isaiah 60:2-3 (AMPC).

“Never be moved by obligation.”
Yes, that is one of the attacks from the enemy;to make the believer feel guilty.
Focus at the Lord and prayer is needed for to stay “untouched” in the Lord’s Will and not fall into the trap in which the enemy accuses one for being ‘evil’.
Before the enemy is the one who obeys the voice of the Lord instead of men of course evil.
