Bible Text: Galatians 3:10-14,

“For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:10-14.

It must first be noted that The Law of God is Perfect and Good — making the simple wise.

One need only to read Psalm 19 to learn this fact:

“The law of The LORD is perfect (flawless), restoring and refreshing the soul; The statutes of The LORD are reliable and trustworthy, making wise the simple.” Psalm 19:7.

A Question

Since the Word of God clearly states that the Law is perfect or flawless and trustworthy, then how can it ever be said that this Law then is a Curse?

How can this be that one would declare that this perfect Law is a Curse?

This truth of “A Curse of the Law” is also stated in The Word of God, then could there be a contradiction of Scripture? God Forbid!

The Scriptures declare of that ALL Scripture is “God Breathed” and “Profitable” for Study, correction and reproof, and instruction unto righteousness. (See 2 Timothy 2:15)

How then has the law become “a Curse”?

This is a very important fact that one must learn if he is to ever discover the Depth and Truth of True Salvation in Christ.

Many who go about quoting the keeping of The Law as a mans to be saved are speaking ignorantly, not knowing the Scriptures.

The reason being is that the “Keeping of The Law” is itself impossible for any sinner unconverted to keep fully.

The fact is, The Law in order to save any person and present them “Saved” before The LORD, must be kept perfectly.

Not just in some points — but in all points — the Law must be kept perfectly.

If a person fails to keep one single point of the Law of God, then he will be guilty of breaking The Law. (See James 2)

“For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.” James 2:10.

Men are under the sin of Adam and are all gone astray and are totally unable to even understand God’s requirements to Salvation, much less to live righteous. (See: Romans 3:10-19)

So then The Law — which is Perfect and Flawless — becomes a Curse to all who “Cannot keep it!”

The Curse is that men are only condemned by The Law, because the cannot keep the whole Law perfectly.

The Curse is not to be understood that anything is evil or wrong about The Law of God, but, the failure of men to live up keeping all The Law perfectly brings all men under a Curse.

They are literally cursed by the failure to keep The Law.

In understanding the reason for the Curse, then one can fully see and understand True Salvation, which is by Faith alone, and by Grace.

When any sinner fully understands then that his Salvation totally depends upon Jesus Christ who died for their sin, then the dawning of a new life comes forth.

The Scriptures declare that a sinner can be justified by Faith alone.

Salvation is by Grace through Faith alone — and not by Works. See Ephesians 2,

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9.

The reason then that Salvation is by Faith is clearly told in the following verse:

“But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. And The Law is not of Faith; but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.
Christ hath Redeemed us from The Curse of The Law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” Galatians 3:11-14.

Jesus died to take away The Curse of The Law!

I have posted this Teaching Word in obedience to my Holy Spirit Teacher who teaches me The Word of God.

LORD help the People understand True Salvation can only be by Grace through Faith, and the Curse of the Law has been fully destroyed by Jesus’ Death for Sin.
