“You shall not make idols for yourselves or erect an image or pillar, and you shall not set up a figured stone in your land to bow down to it, for I am the Lord your God”Leviticus 26:1.
In the Spirit, I saw a heart with a statue right in the middle of it. The statue was tall and thin and decorative. I ask you, what is built up against God in your heart? What are you bowing down before spiritually? What’s pulling you/it away from Jehovah by it’s weights and needs of attention?
“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God”1 Corinthians 6:9-10.
“But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death”Revelation 21:8.
“Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry”Colossians 3:5.
Listen, we’ve all heard it, “God knows my heart”… Yes He does!
The issue is that too many in the body of Christ don’t want to see what God knows about their heart, that the heart can play host to many wicked idols that they just don’t find offensive to God! They believe that pulling out the “grace card” is their “safe card”! Or….That the “Blood of Jesus!” allows them to be impenetrable to consequences of any actions because they’re “free”!
Well, I hate to burst that misguided bubble. But I do have a pin prophetically in my hand and must release it as led of the Lord to inform you that, anything and everything you hold in higher regard than the living God, more of a priority, has made first other than God, decided to spend more time with on purpose than with God, is wicked and must be cast out of your heart in order to follow Jesus, worship God, to heed fully to His instructions!
Do you not know that it’s better for God to destroy the idol you hold onto, than for Him to allow the idol to stand and He destroy you?
An evangelist whom I have known now for many years said years ago, whey were shocked that I, relatively new to ministry, could hear God, but the evangelist couldn’t. The evangelist said to me that they couldn’t hear God and they didn’t know why. It was the idols in the heart that muffled the voice of God within them, and gave Abba no space to move, stretch and grow the person.
When idols take up that well needed space in the heart, where God should be living, it becomes a perfect atmosphere for hardness of heart and bitterness to thrive, multiply and divide upon your life.
God wants all of you, yes even the place where those “precious idols” are!
Yes….You’re heart. You must let them go so you can grow! Seek peace with God and not war with God!
I decree every wicked idol of fear, addictions, strongholds/belief systems, imaginations, evil thoughts, lusts, jealousy, envy, strife, doubt, unbelief, faithlessness, manipulation, pain, discontentment and all abominations and offensive behaviors in the sight of god, willingly held on that has taken up residency within the walls of your own heart, are crushed and destroyed by the power and might of the living God!
I decree every form of unrighteousness that kept the idols in place in your heart is destroyed beyond repair by the blood of Jesus and cast out!!
I decree the empty place of where the idols once stood have been cleared, cleaned and prepped as ready for the indwelling of the holy spirit in the name of Jesus!! Hallelujah!
I decree decrease of self, that He may increase in you! In the name of Jesus!
By the grace of God,
