“This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.” Daniel 4:17

As we study and grow in the understanding of the eternal purpose of The LORD Jesus Christ, we see how by divine revelation, The Holy Spirit revealed measures of The Mystery of,

• The Kingdom of God,
• The Kingdom of Heaven,
• The Kingdom of This World and
• The Kingdom of Men in The Scriptures.

Though we may consider them all but one and the same, yet they are very very distinct.

However, the singular purpose for which we are called as co-laborers with The LORD Jesus Christ, in these diverse battlegrounds — is to contend for the yielded submission of all kingdoms to the complete and total rule of The Father of The LORD Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul writing about the depth and extent of the jurisdiction of the authority of The Name of The LORD Jesus Christ wrote…

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9-11

The Apostle Paul goes further to tell us more about this ruling mandate of The LORD Jesus Christ, and His commandment to reign and subdue all things under His feet, after which, He brings all these conquered domains under the full authority of The Father, who will then rule as God over all.

“Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.” 1 Corinthians 15:24-28

These in summary, is the ultimate call The LORD Jesus Christ is working to fulfill through His Church, established to be His Army, through which, He must subdue all authority and deliver The Kingdom to The Father.

Within the battlegrounds of the kingdoms revealed in The Scriptures, the kingdom of men is revealed to have emerged at very significant moments, facilitated by an empire spirit that sought to establish a ruling system aimed at keeping The Presence of The LORD God Almighty out from the affairs of man.

First, we see this, with the copulation of men with angelic beings, who in lust after the daughters of men, produced giants in the earth — for this, The LORD repented for making man, because the wickedness of man had become so great in the earth.

For this, The LORD wiped out man from the earth, saving Noah and his family, with a promise to not wipe man out again with the flood, as long as a sweet smelling savor proceeded out of the altar unto The LORD — being As long The Presence of The LORD remained and dwelled in the habitations of man.

“And Noah builded an altar unto The LORD, and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And The LORD smelled a sweet savour, and The LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake, for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth, neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” Genesis 8:20-22

Next, we see the emergence of a man named Nimrod, called a mighty hunter, who began to establish a kingdom named Babel.

“And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth. He was a mighty hunter before The LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before The LORD. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.” Genesis 10:8-10

The Scripture goes further to reveal, how this man inspired all men on earth, and they all came together, being of one speech, and in agreement, began to work towards establishing a city for their kingdom on earth.

“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar, and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven, and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. And The LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And The LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language, and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So The LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel, because The LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did The LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” Genesis 11:1-9

Afterwards, we see the fortified kingdom that emerged out of Egypt, and also out of Babylon centuries later – all of these with a similar spirit, system and structure — aimed at isolating man from the rule of The LORD God Almighty, by saturating every facet of man’s life with sin and the systems of sin, enough to make the kingdom of man detestable to The LORD God Almighty.

The Scriptures speaks yet further about the reemergence of this vicious wicked empire spirit that will emerge in the last days of this age — as the man of sin — the Antichrist who will emerge to facilitate an untold level of wickedness in the earth.

The Prophet Daniel recorded this as being the fourth kingdom that will arise in the earth, diverse from all other kingdoms

“Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them, and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings. And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.” Daniel 7:23-25

However, as was in the time of when giants emerged in the earth and great wickedness filled the hearts of men, The LORD sought and found a man — Noah — who bore a testimony of righteousness — and became a righteous pathway for the release of the righteous justice of The LORD in the kingdom of men.

Likewise, after The LORD stepped in and scattered the language of the men who were willing to build Nimrod’s kingdom — The LORD sought and found for Himself a man — Abraham — who gave it all in response to The Call of The LORD — and received a covenant that became the righteous pathway for The Salvation of The LORD to come through.

Likewise, in the time of the Egyptian Kingdom over the spheres of men, The LORD raised up Moses, and in the fullness of time, shook and tore down the demonic empire spirit that ruled the kingdom of men through Egypt, and had for so long, created boundaries of sin, and made The Kingdom of men detestable to The Presence of The LORD, keeping The LORD from coming in, and keeping that which is of The LORD from going out.

We see the same in the time of the Babylonian Kingdom that rules over the kingdom of men — The LORD reserved for Himself, righteous men, men whose consecrated lives became the legal pathway for The Presence of The LORD to come into the kingdoms of men.

There were men like Daniel, whose consecrated lives to The LORD would provoke a visitation from The Angel of The LORD, regardless of the resistance of the Prince of Persia — who contended to keep The Presence of The LORD away from the kingdom of men.

I dare say, we are coming into new times in the eternal calendar of The LORD, and the time of a new kingdom — the season of the battleground of the kingdom of men beckons — as long prophesied.

As we have seen in ages past, the earnest operations of the demonic empire spirit that’s beginning to build a formation to rule in the kingdom of men, works to saturate the spheres of men with sin, to make the dwelling places of the kingdom of men detestable to The Presence of The LORD — so that man, being isolated from The Presence of The LORD will dwell in utter darkness and in bondage to sin.

“And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:2-4

However, The LORD is calling for a consecrated company to arise, those whose lives become consecrated hosts of The Presence of The LORD, people who will become highways of The Presence of The LORD, in the midst of the gross darkness and the saturations of sin enveloping the nations to force The Presence of The LORD out of the kingdoms of men.

The LORD took The Prophet Ezekiel to the Temple, and showed him how the activities of idolatry, had made His Presence go far from the Temple.

“Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry. He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.” Ezekiel 8:5-6

To The Laodicean Church, The LORD was right outside the door of His own Church knocking and desiring to come in.

“Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20

However, if there be consecrated lives, consecrated dwelling places, cities, assemblies, The Presence of The LORD will abide even in the midst of the saturations of darkness and will become a plumbline as was in Babylon — necessitating the release of righteous justice of The LORD when the enemy goes out of line.

Thus, we see Daniel, being instrumental, in “interpreting” the decrees of The LORD that brought the judgments of The LORD on the excesses of Nebuchadnezzar and on Beltshezzar in the midst of Babylonian kingdom

When we stand as consecrated hosts of The Presence of The LORD in the midst of sin saturated cities and nations, we become pathways of righteousness and justice, provoking The interventions of The Most High in The Kingdom of men.
