The Sacrifice of Praise – Papa loves it!
I had a vision at our praise team rehearsal the other day. I was worshiping as we sang “Come To The River” by Housefires when I saw Him bed down and kiss me on top of the head like a Father would do when He was pleased with His child.
I instantly felt the Love and encouragement of the Father. It was funny because I had some real health issues the night before and in the morning and was thinking that I didn’t have the strength to go to worship, but the Holy Spirit encouraged me to go anyway. It was as if the Father was proud of His Daughter for pressing past the pain to come and worship Him and to help lead others into His presence.
I tell you He Loves us regardless but He loves it when we bring the Sacrifice of Praise into the House of the Lord. I wept in His presence…..
Fix your Heart and bring the The Sacrifice of Praise!
I told the Lord twenty five years ago when I literally thought that I was dying that I would always as long as I had breath, stand before the congregation of the Lord and give Him Praise and I have always by the power of the Holy Spirit, have done my best to keep that promise.
He healed me that day and I just want to say, as long as I can give Him glory, I will continue! Only you must fix your heart to do it no matter what! Because if the enemy thinks he knows what will stop you, he will always try to stop you! But if your heart is fixed. You will praise him!
He gave us all that He had when He went to the cross and He deserves all the Glory forevermore!
“I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee. I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name. In the day when I cried thou answered me, and strengthened me with strength in my soul,” Psalm 138:1-3.
“O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. For thy mercy is great above the heavens: and thy truth reaches unto the clouds. Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth; That thy beloved may be delivered: save with thy right hand, and answer me,” Psalm 108:1-3.
