Who is a learner?
What the learner does is what he learns and not what the teacher does. A learner is one who commits fully to instruction. Learning is a commitment to function. To this end,we learn to do by actually doing.
Faith is a verb, a ‘To Do’ word. Faith is an action word, hence it dies in inaction (without works)… It is one thing to be taught but yet another to learn. Learning requires the sole participation of the spiritually hungry.
How much have we learnt from God’s word? How much of it have we put to use? Have we truly learnt from God? Jesus learnt obedience through the things He suffered, what have we learnt from God?
Behind what a learner does is his discovery of the relevance and meaning of what he is taught, that is how it fits into his total life patterning in terms of destiny fulfillment. A spiritually informed person is not necessarily a spiritually educated person. We may quote all the verses of the bible, that’s Information.
Spiritual education is the utilization of spiritually acquired knowledge and skills which brings about a modification of personal values and a relative change in behaviour. Learning is a process, and every learner processed daily to look like his teacher…
Learning is not in confession but in deed. Today, let’s sit to think. Concerning spiritual matters, how much have we learnt? Do our deeds reflect our tutelage?
