The Spirit of OFFENSE

“For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there”   James 3:16.

“For the body is not one member, but many.  15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?  16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body?  17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing?  If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?  18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him.  19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?  20 But now are they many members, yet but one body”   1 Corinthians 12:14-19.

“Many believers have a spirit of offense in this hour.  Because they are not founded upon my love and security they are insecure with man and the body.  If you are secure in your dealings with Me then you are secure in your dealings with mankind.

How can my body ever be one if they are always fighting against one another?  For there is a disease among you.  Whenever there is jealousy and rivalry all kinds of things can come at you. You compete with one another, but I ask you, ‘Are you in a race with each other?’ You still compare each other according to the world’s standards.  What is your standard, I may ask?  Outdo each other with love and then you will be doing the right thing.  No one is greater than anyone else in my kingdom.

I have even seen this with some who prophesy in my name.  They say, ‘Surely my trumpet is better than yours.’  Surely, the words that I speak are more eloquent and wise.  I ask you, ‘Who gave you the words that you speak?’ Would the body fight against different parts?  Would the leg say, ‘I am greater than you to the arm?’  I have arranged each part so that it is dependent upon another.

Surely, many of you are still children when you have this mindset.”
