Twist NOT Scripture! — 2 Comments

  1. Thank you Apostle Geraldine. I am so blessed my beloved! especially this phrase which you have stated in the book of James 1:22. We should put the word of God into action, preach the word and practise it. It is so awesome to be in the presence of the Lord! All I see is HIM. God bless my dearest sister!

  2. The power to transform is not in man, it’s in the power of the Holy Spirit. The power to be holy is not in man’s effort, this can only be accomplished by man’s power and grace.
    As it is written,
“I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. (‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭1-8‬ NLT)

Jesus is saying that He is the gardener and through Him can you produce fruit! Does a grapevine struggle and strive to produce a grape or does it occur as God prospered the vine to produce fruit? If the vine branches are separated it dies and produces nothing. This is the word of Our Savior not from a mere man. Please church family, we must embrace Him, Our Lord Jesus, trust in Him to lead us into righteous and Holy living ,for only Christ has this Power!  Man’s effort is fruitless but through the power of the Holy Spirit we can be holy, and our works will reflect that we are children of the living God!
