“A lion has ROARED! Who will not fear? The LORD God has spoken! Who can but prophesy?” Amos 3:8.
Well, well, well. What can I say?!
“I will praise the Name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.” Psalms 69:30.
Brethren, let us give thanks to The LORD for His marvelous work in the land in the UK General Election yesterday 12.12.2019.
“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His Name. For The LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations,” Psalm 100:4-5.
Now, then. The momentous, divinely ordained 12.12.2019 UK General Election is done. The results are in.
The outcome is a resounding victory by God!
The LORD has prevailed again. It was never in doubt. Although, many claimed “the polls [were] tightening”, we in The Spirit knew God’s purpose cannot/ could not be defeated, or changed.
What with all the un-Godly plans and plots and talk against Brexit of “a second referendum” “a people’s vote” and so on?
Dead and buried. They were never even alive. They were vain efforts, efforts in futility.
“…Why did the nations rage, and the people plot vain things? The kings of the earth took their stand, and the rulers were gathered together against The LORD and against His Christ.” (Acts 4:25-26).
Thank You JESUS!
“I know You can do all things; no purpose of Yours can be thwarted,” Job 42:2 TLV.
“God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent [change His mind]. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” Numbers 23:19.
We are under obligation to give thanks to God. Yes, “we are bound to give thanks always to God for” the wonderful work He has done. (2 Thessalonians 2:13).
Brethren, the only people who have absolute, true power and authority on earth are WE the children of God, WE who are in Christ Jesus, (Luke 9:1; 10:1; Ephesians 1:19; Matthew 16:18, 19; Job 22:28).
With this unassailable power and authority, let us now pray for the government and country and all people as led by The Holy Spirit.
“Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all Godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth,” 1 Timothy 2:1-4.
It is a divine privilege to be able to pray to the only true God. As written, “…The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much,” (James 5:16 MEV).
We believers who are aligned with God’s purpose must now move in humility and pray even more. The government must now move in humility with God’s purpose. As written, “…. Do not be haughty, but fear.” (Romans 11:20).
“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does The LORD require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” Micah 6:8.
I didn’t get to watch it. But I have read a news report online that the prime minister addressed the nation this morning, saying Brexit was now the “irrefutable, irresistible, unarguable decision of the British people.”
Actually, Brexit is the irrefutable, irresistible, unarguable decision of God using the British people.
As I wrote yesterday 12.12.2019, Brexit is brought from Heaven. Nobody can stop it, no one can dilute it. NEVER!
“Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light,” Ephesians 5:14.
“And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. But put on The LORD Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts,” Romans 13:11-14.
This is not the time to party and eat everything. I wrote some time ago that we should beware not to be fooled by food. It is a very important caution to us all, at this time; always.
As widely reported yesterday, the recently dethroned heavyweight champion, Andy Ruiz Jr blamed his defeat on food and partying:
“I think I ate everything… EVERYTHING… that’s why I gained so much weight, … I was having too much fun, I was celebrating too much.”
We, brethren, are spiritual people. Our wisdom must always be with “comparing spiritual things with spiritual”.
“These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1 Corinthians 2:13.
Let us pray as led by The Holy Spirit. Fervently.
I have a few suggestions.
Regarding the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, let’s now pray fervently that:
- he will learn righteousness and live for righteousness by Christ Jesus, (1 Peter 2:24, 25);
- he will trust in The LORD with all his heart, and lean not on his own understanding;
- in all his ways he will acknowledge Him, and He shall direct his paths;
- he will not be wise in his own eyes;
- he will fear The LORD and depart from evil, (Proverbs 3:5 – 7);
- he will get Brexit done exactly as purposed and planned by God;
- he will think, speak and govern by The Wisdom of God, by The Counsel of His Will, and not the wisdom of men. Thus, the government and the country be run according to Christ, and NOT through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, (Colossians 2:8);
- in The Name of Jesus Christ, by The Blood of Jesus, by The Power of Christ, we resist and restrain and restrict principalities and powers from inciting and influencing both UK and EU politicians and officials regarding Brexit.
In praying let us deal with demons by The Blood of Jesus, that they are tormented and destroyed out of the way. We clear them out of the way by The Blood of Jesus Christ!
This is “to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,” (Ephesians 3:10).
Brexit 12.12.2019, we sing “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” (Luke 2:14).
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
