“12Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days;and caused the dayspring to know his place; 13 that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, that the wicked might be shaken out of it? 14 It is turned as clay to the seal; and they stand as a garment. 15 And from the wicked their light is withholden, and the high arm shall be broken . 16 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? 17 Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? 18 Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all” Job 38:12-18.
“You shall see wars and the rumors of wars, but still, I have not come yet. For I come at a time that man knows not.
The procession of man’s accomplishments has marched on for many centuries. If one were to count them they would fill an entire library. But are man’s accomplishments so important that they would fill the library of heaven?
For they show what he has done but I stand at the portals of time and see that all of man’s deeds are like the grass. They will wither and die. And yet you can read about the deeds that many had done as they stood in the lion’s den. You can read about those who were in the fiery furnace. For their deeds were wrought through My hand.
What great accomplishments would man do in this hour? What great improvements would be done for mankind? Would world hunger be alleviated? Tell Me, can you stop the spread of diseases throughout the land? Can you prevent poverty from occurring? Surely, you have the means and the intelligence to do this.
Surely, you can prevent the winds from rising and falling. Surely, you can help an innocent child from dying in the arms of its mother?
Oh man, you are powerless with many things that are around you. And you will know and see this when your land has been plundered. Then your accomplishments will mean nothing.”
