We’ve walked through years, of only knowing in part; seeing through a glass darkly. Much has been hidden, even closed up until the time it was meant to be revealed. In reading toward the end of the last Book today, I realized just how little we know about what it actually says and what it really means. For a long time now, there are those who have tried to interpret the time frame each verse was referring to, and when certain things would happen. It did not happen, as we were told.

Much of the Revelation, could not be understood. It’s because, it wasn’t time. Daniel was given a vision and was told to write upon tables so it could be clearly understood by those who read it. Yet, he was told to “shut up the words,” Daniel 12:4, and seal the book, even to the times of the end. It was written in the book of Deuteronomy, “The secret things, belong unto God,” Deuteronomy 29:29. Stated clearly, is that verse that says, “who hath believed our report? and to whom, is the arm of the Lord revealed,” Isaiah 35:1. Much has been declared; but not by the Lord.

Another proclamation was placed in the hearts of many of us, so many years ago now. We clung to it. “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it.” Habakkuk wrote this (Habakkuk 2;3). And we have waited. We knew we were appointed for a certain time. I’m sure many of us, did not know then, what was spoken to us, would not come to pass for years down the road. God’s Word is alive; and when it truly speaks to you, it never goes away. The tarrying, can be long.

Paul spoke about how those of the old time, did not know about this Mystery, that had been held in the secret realm of God. “As it is now revealed, unto His holy apostles and prophets,” Ephesians 3:5. Let’s look at this phrase, “now” revealed. And how was it going to be revealed.

“By the Spirit.” No matter who tries to counteract it, or play it down, much is being revealed even today, to His apostles and prophets. And He is even showing things to babes; why? Because those who think they are wise, have forgotten or never knew, that these things are revealed, by the Spirit. To those, who are truly hungry.

The deep things of God today, the things that He has ordained for this hour, will not be revealed to those who are not following the leading of the Spirit. Honestly, why would He share such things with those who are following their own way; the path of their own program. God is revealing things to a certain group of men and women, who have been chosen and set in place for this time. And it will only be done so, by the Spirit. He is beginning to open up His Word, to those we never thought He would. The Spirit, is looking for vessels, that will get themselves out of the way, and follow and hear what He desires, and the exact direction He chooses to go in.

Many were invited to a particular banquet; but they made excuses and did not come. Therefore, he turned to the highways and to the bi-ways. The work, will get done. With all of this declaring that we see going on now, I wish to declare something also. We who have been included in what He is revealing to His church in this hour, must remain humble; at all costs. It’s not our message, it is not our prophecy, and it is not our vision. It is His.

The way we go about it, could reveal more about us, than what the Spirit is saying to the church. The things of God and His plans, are even now being opened up to prepared vessels.

Let us not grieve, the Holy Spirit.
