  1. Proverbs 22:3 “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.”

My grandparents lived that verse while living on an island with only a small bridge connecting them to the mainland.  They both loved the Lord and taught us grandchildren how to pray. When hurricanes came, they had a well stocked pantry to ride out the storm and to share with neighbors in need.  I believe that Proverbs 22:3 applies to every Christian and even to every person who is paying attention to these volatile times in which we live.

  2. “Teach them how to make it financially when banks collapse, how to eat and survive without lights and water.”

Earlier, in the absence of faith in God, I read about and believed in the ‘of the grid’ lifestyle for to perhaps survive disasters, but when I met the Lord He freed me from that false trust in self, and taught me, step by step to trust in Him alone.
At that time I had also began to store up food but how silly isn’t that?
As if one expect to be comfortable at home when the disaster occurs!
Not to mention that one has to be armed for to defend the things from desperate people and by that be in risk to break God’s commandments. Is it not exactly what satan waits for?
“And who of you, being anxious, is able to add to his age one cubit?” Matthew 6:27.
