You Are Different! Not Like the Others!

Jesus wants us to be fully aware that we are different than most.

When you follow Jesus will all of your heart you are going to be different. Your desires, hopes, dreams, and everything about you will not be like those around you.

Look at John 2 for example:

“After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not stay there many days.” John 2:12.

Do you see how many are with Jesus after He did his first big miracle? Seventeen (17) people.

But where was his family and disciples when Jesus resurrected? Where did the seventeen people go?

Or how about in Mark 3:21 when the family of Jesus said He was “out of his mind”?

Jesus chased after the Father, but others were not chasing God with Him.

When you follow God with all of your heart, you will be different. And that will cause others to either follow Jesus with you or call you crazy and not support you.

Jesus told me: “You are on a different track than others!”

Then a received an image of train on a train track on a tall, grassy hill. The train track was as straight as an arrow and travels along this mountain for as far as I could see.

I then saw other trains, but they were on the side of the hill and not heading dead straight like the train on the hill.

You are the train on the hill.

Jesus then said: “What I want people to do is understand that I have called people and separated them. And many times, those around them will not come with them.

You cannot get caught up in what others think, feel, and do. I have given you a mandate. You must continue ahead with Me.

I have called you deeper. You must submit to Me and not look back. Do not worry about those who are not aligned with you for I will work on their hearts. But you must keep your focus and set sail with Me.

Do not give up. Do not be discouraged.

Even I had people close to Me who left Me. They didn’t follow Me although they knew Me.

You have to press forward to receive the prize I have for you.

Great things happen to those who persevere. You will be rewarded like no other. I AM well pleased with you.

You are on a train towards Me!”

“But when His own people heard about this, they went out to lay hold of Him, for they said, “He is out of His mind.”” Mark 3:21.
