Your past is gone at last, I have given you a New Name!
I saw people struggling, because things like a divorce, sickness, deaths of loved ones, re-marriages, drug addictions, child abuse, rapes etc.. had happened to them in their lives. As these things happened to them, they took this issue on themselves and became who their issue defined them to be. it seemed as if they could never be rid of it, even when they prayed it over and over. They became who that word defined them to be, like divorcee, or abused, or addict, rape victim, shame, etc….
You are not what your past says you are!
Then the LORD said, “Tell them that they are not what their past issues are any more! Tell them that they are what My Word says that they are!”
He said, “The reason that they can’t get set free, is because they have believed the lie of the enemy about who they are, and are identifying themselves with the wrong image of themselves. You become, what you focus on!
The reason that they continue not walking in victory, is because they get up every morning with a wrong awareness. They are more aware of what people think of their past, than what I have made them to be!
I AM a God who sees who I set them free to be, and that is what their destiny is!
That destiny is that they are “predestinated to be conformed to the image of My Son!”
then he said, “Tell them to focus on that image of themselves, and soon they will become all that I have had in My heart for them to be before the foundation of the world!
Tell them that I have given them a new name and that name is…. “the redeemed of the LORD!
I changed their name and old things have passed away and behold all things are new! Their new name is written in heaven! Their victory will come as they get up and walk in who I created them to be!
It is time for them to know who they are so that we can get this work of the Kingdom done!
Arise and walk in the new name that I have given you!”
“But now this is what Adonai says, He who created you, ya‘akov, He who formed you, Isra’el: “don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you; I am calling you by your name; you are mine,” Isaiah 43:1-5 (CJB)
“and the gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the lord shall name,”Isaiah 62:2.
“and they shall call them, the holy people, the redeemed of the lord: and thou shalt be called, sought out, a city not forsaken,”Isaiah 62:12.
“for whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren,” Romans 8:29.
