Can One Effectively Serve Humanity in a State of Poverty?
Sometime ago in a group chat I asked a question that I believed to be pertinent and the question was: “Can one effectively serve humanity in a state of poverty?”
I welcome all view points on this particular topic, nonetheless I submit my personal response as follows:
I think that it is a lie and deceitful strategy from the pit of hell to keep the people of God in bondage and hence in sin, to some extent, when they have us to believe that because Jesus said we must be lowly, meek and mild means, we must be content being impoverished, pauperised, spiritually incapacitated, insolvent and in a continuous cycle of destitution.
There’s a difference between being poor and being humble. You can be wealthy and still in humility (since wealth also is a state of mind.)
Same as there’s a difference between one whose centred in material prosperity teaching and one who actually teaches the people how to live prosperous lives.
Being poor wasn’t in Father’s original plan and purpose for our lives. He gives us richly all things to enjoy.
“Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy,” 1 Timothy 6:17.
In my opinion, poverty doesn’t glorify God it doesn’t declare His majesty through us.
If, according to God’s word, we are blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, that to me speaks volumes of our rightful inheritance.
When in that “poor state” we need to start asking God some serious questions; He will answer!!
Hence why I believe God shifting the paradigm and raising up leaders who have been processed, taught, learned and will be ready to teach, Teach TRUTH!!
By divine revelation.. Not hand me down heresies and misconceptions.
I believe God is raising up a people that have been and still are being thoroughly furnished. They’ve been in the wilderness of preparation and so they’ll know truth and don’t need to compromise.
They’re many, many in the Kingdom who have been taught wealth creation and are ready for the transfer of wealth and distribution of same.
A people whose achievements are the consummation of holy aspirations and who live constantly in the conception of noble and lofty thoughts.
These are people who are serving God in all purity who are either wealthy by inheritance or have worked their way to that level.
How can we, according to Deuteronomy 28, lend to nations with no resources?
How can we be Kingdom financers, give tithes, offerings and free will gifts on empty pockets?
Proverbs 8 tells us about wisdom dwelling together with prudence. Finding out knowledge of creative ideas and witty inventions.
With that said, let us make a conscious effort to forcefully oppose and reject the world system that has limited our mind processes and spiritual capabilities to be okay in lack and insufficiency transcend to a higher state of being and living as God in His all infinite power intended us to be.
