Too many are attempting to fit into one or other ministry call that they feel attracted to.
A true and authentic calling is not having to try, it is merely relating the rhythms of the Father’s heart, it is effortless, unavoidable, unrestricted and free from any personal performance. It is doing what you were born to do.
Any other form or attempt at ministry, irrespective of how much you may love it, will bear the fruit of man’s efforts, rather than the fruit of The Holy Spirit.
We have forgotten that it is God Who calls men (while understanding that we are all called to participate in building His Kingdom in some way or another), and that He has called us to support those whom He has called.
Today everyone is hungry to hold a microphone to preach, few to teach (long-during relationships in discipleship with personal care), and even fewer to serve.
No wonder what today is generally called ministry has become such a circus!
