Let the True Prophets Come Forth — and Let the Noise Be Silenced!
2 Words in 1
The Doorkeeper
“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness….” Psalm 84:10.
The Doorkeeper was not a high-ranking position, yet the psalmist says they’d prefer even the lowest role in God’s house than a high place in wickedness, a posture of a heart that chooses servanthood over status and humility over honor…
Guarding God’s Presence and desiring to be always near to The Holy One…
Answer the call to The Inner Court in all purity and holiness!
Doorkeeper : Strong’s H5605 : סָפַף, sâphaph, saw-faf’ : A primitive root; properly to snatch away, that is, terminate; but used only as denominative from H5592 (in the sense of a vestibule), to wait at the threshold: – be a doorkeeper. BDB: 1) (Hithpoel) to stand at or guard the threshold.
Let the True Prophets Come Forth — and Let the Noise Be Silenced!
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.” 2 Corinthians 11:13.
Lately, I’ve been observing something deeply troubling and especially on Social Media.
It seems everyone wants to be a “prophet” and the title is now trendy.
The “Mantle” has become a “Movement” — and the Sacred Call has been muddied and reduced to “social clout.”
Yes, the Bible says in Joel 2:28 that God will pour out His Spirit and “your sons and daughters shall prophesy” — but not everyone who prophesies is called to the Office of a Prophet!
Let’s be honest, much of this prophetic confusion stems from what we’ve seen on stages and screens:
- Prophets flying in private jets, sitting on thrones, claiming to be “Majors,” “Generals,” and “Oracles.” while sounding impressive these often appeal to the flesh, not the Spirit.
These man-made titles are rooted in a hunger for dominance, applause, and spiritual hierarchy rather than servanthood, humility, and true Kingdom assignment. - These deceitful ones charge for every word. Others control their followers like cult leaders.
- Instead of pointing people to Jesus, they point them to themselves. This celebrity prophet model has deceived many into thinking that the title of prophet means superiority, power, and entitlement instead of humility, burden, and servanthood.
People see popular prophets online with thousands of followers, honorariums, invitations to preach globally, people hanging on every “word” they post.. [SMH]
Instead of desiring the BURDEN, many now covet the BENEFITS of prophetic visibility.
But the true prophetic mantle is costly, painful, and lonely. .. . not glamorous!
Many don’t want to serve they want to be seen. The Prophet is often perceived as a “higher” calling, and so pride speaks — “If I’m a Prophet, I must be more anointed!”
This opens the door to spiritual competition, jealousy, and mimicry all Satan’s tools to corrupt true mantles.
John the Baptist was a true prophet and he lived in the wilderness, wore camel’s hair, and ate locusts.
- Jeremiah was thrown into a pit.
- Elijah was hunted and hid in caves.
- Even Jesus the Prophet, Priest, and King was rejected, beaten, and crucified.
The Road of a True Prophet is One of Sacrifice, Not Spotlight!
So now INFLUENCE is mistaken for ANOINTING….
Many chase visibility, not consecration a platform instead of God’s Presence…
They want the stage, not The Secret Place.
They desire the accolades of prophetic power — but not the agony of the prophetic process.
There are various reasons for this… Many carry deep wounds of being overlooked, silenced, or forgotten.
Instead of seeking healing, they adopt the title “P R O P H E T” as a spiritual badge to feel significant.
But the prophetic office is not a therapy tool it is a holy assignment. Suffering from rejection seeking validation..
The Luciferian Spirit of Pride…..
The same pride that caused Lucifer to say “I will ascend and be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:14) is whispering again.
There’s a dangerous desire to be “the voice,” rather than to be a vessel. But true prophets don’t exalt themselves, they are sent often after a season of crushing.
Witchcraft Disguised as Prophetic Utterance….
Many are tapping into familiar spirits using divination, visions of their own heart, clairvoyants, drawing from profane wells and calling it prophecy…
But Jeremiah 23:16 warns us: “They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of The LORD.”
It has often been heralded : Accuracy does not always mean authenticity!
The result of all this is seducing voices that tell people what they want to hear (2 Timothy 4:3)
Untested vessels who crumble under pressure. A cheapened prophetic office, void of fire and fear of The LORD…..
Meanwhile, True Prophets often hidden and still in process are overlooked or silenced!
The LORD is raising up a remnant not those who self-appoint, but those who have been in the fire, tried, proven, and still chose obedience over applause.
These are the ones who will emerge without mixture. No stage. No fame. Just Fire!
I say this with deep love and Holy Dear
Let us return to The Altar.
Let the True Prophets come forth — and let the noise be silenced!
“I did not send these prophets, yet they ran; I did not speak to them, yet they prophesied.” Jeremiah 23:21.
Shalom
