Stopping the Judgment of God on the Church
Something is moving in the spirit world….
I feel we are about to see a toppling of positions in the Church unparalleled to anything we have seen so far.
This was foretold in our meetings over 25 years ago. It began shortly after this evangelist proclaimed it to the people and it was absolutely awful.
I can cite and quote the time and place it was spoken, but that is not my place or intent. The message said that anyone who got in the way of the gifts of the Spirit being restored to the Church, would reap the wrath of God.
It started. Just why God backed off for a time is out of my realm . Perhaps it is that God decided to give more time for repentance in our leadership, more time for the body to speak up for truth and direction.
Some of the words spoken were “you’re nerves can fragment” and “your children can suddenly go beserk.”
He said those who berated those who had the Gifts and oppressed them and scoffed at them would no longer get away with it.
It was prophesied that we were on the threshold of mighty Apostolic restoration and we had only a short time to prepare.
There was an outstanding message entitled, “The forgotten 2 years.” All of it related to Israel’s preparation to enter the Promised Land and how we were at the same place and if we missed it, we might not get another chance.
It was our time of visitation. There are those who can verify what I am saying. The cry was that we not “thwart” what God had for us to do. That mighty outpouring did not happen.
It seems few even remember or talk about it. We also seemed to have forgotten the judgment we were promised if we failed to fulfill God’s plan.
Twice today, someone made reference to the prophecy of Jesus Christ, “The first shall be last and the last first.”
In our grab for power and dominion over God’s people, we failed to see that this would also apply to the Church as we know it today.
Watching someone who has been highly esteemed and given a special place of authority, actually tumble from their place, is no happy event.
It is sad, very, very sad. It seems, out of the clear blue, events come about that totally upend everything that person has worked and stood for, they are totally ripped out of their place of comfort and apparent success.
It did not have to happen that way. Some of the judgments that were predicted upon the Church and its people, have been delayed by the mercy and grace of God and it has caused us to think either God changed His mind, or He wasn’t talking to us.
We thought we could go on always corrupting his Power and Authority and stepping in the way of the moving of the Holy Spirit.
Because judgment eased off, we thought we got by. Many ministers lost their Churches after that message.
Words like “my sheep” and “my church” had become too common. Some beautiful young ministers were destroyed, their lives and ministries ruined, perhaps for good. Someone overstepped the Spirit.
My life is not precious to me. I have nothing without Him. Why I have been chosen to speak here is beyond me. I am the first to say I am not worthy. But it’s life or death with me.
You see, we as the Holiness Church have claimed for years, too many things we simply did not have. We claimed to be the best, the only members of the Bride of Christ and we slammed anyone else who did not fit our rules and patterns.
We’ve watched our people fall on every side and kept our noses in the air in total disregard for the judgment that would befall us for it.
And because we got by with it, we have continued to do so and scoff and scorn others who dared to upbraid us for it.
Politics have rotted the very institution of our leadership. Many are in power who no more have the right to be there than a complete novice.
Divisions permeate all fellowships and good people are being driven into the dust. Well, it will not continue much longer.
We could have gone forward into the realm of the Spirit that was promised to us, the full power of Apostolic revival sweeping this land.
The leadership thwarted that by their disease of control and the laity sat back and kept silent. Those promises in the Book were not just to preachers, pastors etc. They were for every one, all who were willing to pay the price.
We’ve healed almost nobody. We claim power we don’t have. We say it’s in us. It was in us. Whether it is now is another question.
If it is in us, then there is no longer any excuse for not letting it out. Our people are sick and dying. The world is sick and dying without hope while most of us keep claiming the Apostolic experience without proof to back it up.
That time is about past. Nobody can reach us. We’re hard, cynical and self-righteous. We’re also so envious and jealous of one another we have totally destroyed the move of the Holy Ghost in many places.
We were so envious because someone had a gift of the Spirit and we didn’t have it, it made us ill. We could not celebrate what God had given to someone else and not to us.
Churches have collapsed because of it. Many others are standing and because they put on such a show, they appear spiritual when they are hardly a shell of truth.
Those continue to clobber anyone who dares to speak out. A hand-picked few are chosen when Apostolic power and demonstration should be rampant in every city and hamlet.
Reports are coming in that even the strongest churches we know are beginning to lose membership and no one can figure out why.
Someone said today that God is coming back for a spot-free bride and the reason He has not returned yet is that we are full of wrinkles. He will iron out his Church. There is no doubt about that.
What many of us thought was oppression from the enemy is actually the wrath and disapproval of God beginning as it was foretold.
We once knew “judgment begins at the house of God” but we lost our awe and fear of Him.
No, we were not to live for Him out of fear, not the dangling us over the pit kind of fear but the reverence, the humbling of ourselves in His presence, when the entire place falls on their face before Him at once.
What is moving God now to loose correction and retribution against us?
It is the bleating of lost sheep, the cry of those being devoured by the wolves of this world, yes, and wolves in the Church, those in sheep’s clothing who tear asunder the lambs of his pasture.
The number of them has become too great, the pitiful cry too loud for Him to ignore. Children are still starving to death all over this world, even right here in our own country while we grow fat and fatter.
Too many of our Churches can’t even bother to put up a soup kitchen, but we drive fine cars and dress to the nines.
We proclaim that He is coming any moment now but there are too many who do not know Him, those who have never had a chance.
We’ve restored almost no one. Tell me where the restitution centers are, which churches and congregations are well known for restoring people, what assemblies stand out as a place of refuge for fallen ministers and their families.
In this age of modern technology and internet we would know where they were. We don’t have them. If we did, broken and lost people would be flocking to them by the hundreds, the thousands even for healing and restoration.
We have a form but God is sick of our form. We said we had all of it. We said we were just like the New Testament church and we are not, not even close.
We have fostered a generation of younger people who do not know what the real anointing truly is. We never demonstrated the full operation of the Gifts or practiced true biblical order among our ministers and churches so they have no idea what it even really looks like.
I can’t watch videos of so called conferences and camp meetings any more. Most of it is so far from what we once had, so powerless.
See it for yourself. In too many clips, there are a few shouting and dancing at the front but look at the bulk of the crowd.
They are hardly moving. The music is almost nothing compared to the anointed singing and playing we once had. Some are professional, very good but that’s what they are, professional.
Hype and loud does not replace spiritual. Some of our best and most precious are dying too young from diseases we said we had the power to heal.
The worse is that some of us are cold, twice dead and do not even know it. Family members in the same Church, the same fellowship do not even speak to one another.
Some of our elder members are not getting enough to live on or the care they need and all we want to do is build bigger, put in another parking lot or buy new light shows or worse, just be satisfied with the small handful we have in our own little kingdom.
We could stop this destruction that’s coming but we likely won’t. We have become those who “will not endure sound doctrine.”
So, who is this message for?
I am telling those of you reading this that you are mostly wasting your time in trying to reach the mainstream, nor those who have gone off after every whim of doctrine.
They are not going to hear you. But, there is a remnant, those who will rally at this latest hour. They cannot help it. What is in them will no longer be denied. They’ve seen too much.
They know the real power and demonstration of the Spirit and they can discern. The truth is, they always knew.
They could always tell. I’m telling you that the Gifts that reside in each of you are going to start working whether you wish them to or not.
There is a battle cry that is about to go forth like nothing we have ever heard before. Paul said “stir up” that gift that is in you.
Don’t wait for someone else to stir you, stir yourself!
You think the Spirit taught us these things for nothing?
Never! Things are about to reverse. Lost sheep will start looking for other lost sheep. Broken lives will begin searching for other broken lives.
Those thrown down, discarded and written off for good will throw their hands in all directions in search of other forgotten ones.
The gifts and calling of God are without repentance. Most holiness people do not even believe that. It’s their loss. That valley of dry bones stood up one day to become a mighty army and it will again. How finite we are.
Will we be there to help those upon whom God’s judgment falls? And it will fall without recompense. Can those of us who have known defeat, sorrow and failure turn back our hand to lift those who pushed us away.
Have we learned enough from our heartbreak and loss to maintain the right spirit, to reach out to those among the ninety and nine who are about to also reap what they have sown.
I say, yes. I hate to say this but without our help, some of them will not survive. Moses was driven into the desert in order to learn to lead God’s people. It took him forty years.
We don’t have forty years to get ready. We preached against the churches we left, we’ve had plenty to say about what they did to us and others.
Can we turn around and give love, forgiveness and compassion to those who turned us away?
Can we restore them and others in the way we wished and hoped someone would have done for us.
I know we can. Otherwise, we shall also reap the whirl wind. The final word is this, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked.”
