Are you ready?
Are you prepared with all your tools and insights and training and preparations and preconceived ideas of what God wants you to do?
Have you laid aside every weight, and the sin that so easily besets you, so that you can run the race with confidence?
Where do you think that will lead you, if you have done the storing up of all your supplies for the path The LORD has ahead of you?
Many are the afflictions of the righteous but The LORD delivers us from them all. The Angel of The LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them. (Psalm 34: 7,10,19).
How far will you go, and how well will you succeed, if you do not humble yourself before The LORD and seek His Face for the direction you need, for the real call of God on your life?
“He has been showing you, oh man, what is good. Now what does The LORD require of you but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly before your God? “Have you not heard, have you not seen, that The LORD, the Maker of Heaven and earth, does not become weary, nor does He faint. But they who wait upon The LORD will renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like the eagle. They shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40: 30-31.
Your greatest priority is to know God, and to worship Him in Spirit and in truth. To know God for who He is, and for the Love that He really is.
His perfect Love will cast out all fear. God is not the author of fear, but of power, love, and of a sound mind. God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. He gives you this assurance; that if God be for us, then who can be against us. (Romans 8:28).
It is difficult to obey someone you don’t really know.
If you know that your name is in the Book of Life, then rejoice in The LORD always; again I say rejoice! Let your gentleness be known to all men.
The LORD is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God; and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:3-7).
Are you really prepared? If you have convinced yourself according to your own ways, then your own presumption will find you.
But those who humble themselves in the sight of The LORD, The LORD Himself will lift them up. For thus says the High and lofty One, that inhabits eternity, whose Name is Holy:
“I dwell in the High and Holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.” Isaiah 57:15 KJV.
“Faith comes by hearing the Rhema Word of God.” Romans 10:17.
The real calling of God is Rhema.
There is nothing too hard for God.
