“Behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that use their tongues, and say, He saith. 32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, saith the Lord, and do tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their lightness; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, saith the Lord. 33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask thee, saying, What is the burden of the Lord? thou shalt then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, saith the Lord. 34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the Lord, I will even punish that man and his house” Jeremiah 23:31-34.
“How many of My prophets really and truly speak for Me? For many mince their own words with mine! It is time for their words to be judged. For I AM a God that cares for the young and the old, but I don’t allow some to speak for Me that consider Me as only a gentle loving God that won’t bring judgment upon a nation. For their words will come back to haunt them. Their words will cut them, for the truth in them is a lie.
Whoever would speak for Me must come to my throne room. Many presume to speak for Me. Some wag their tongues thinking that I have filled them with my words. But I tell you that their words will fall to the ground empty. For many speak only pleasant things. I tell you, did I speak only pleasant things to Jeremiah or Isaiah? For surely, I will judge those who have spoken presumptuously for Me. For they did not warn you. They are false guides for you.
For he who would travel would have the needed gear. A ship without a rudder would not land where it should. A train has a destination for it to go to. And if one would switch the tracks then their destination would be different. So, those that would presume to speak for Me attempt to change the destinations.
I have my own destination in mind”, says the Lord. “I steer the country and the land. And I tell you that pleasant words are the wrong course of action. Those who would presume to speak for Me are their own conductors. They are blind guides. They only want to be flattered and praised. And when the day comes for them to meet Me face-to-face, I will say that ‘I never knew you.’ ”

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the Lord is a special way in 1975 and has been prophesying regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are to be reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
