We Are Made Clean by Jesus Christ

The Eagle was used to flying, and one day as it visited the ground, it noticed a dark oil coming from its feathers.

Thinking that it might be rain, the dark oil continued to seep, when the eagle became annoyed and began to beat its beak on a rock.

Then more dark oil became to seep out all over and the eagle thought that it was loosing its mind, and because of the vexation, began to claw its talons down on the rock.

Covered in dark oil and misunderstood by other birds, it was treated with disgust, because many thought that it was a buzzard; the dark oil covered it, causing its appearance to be unrecognizable.

It could not fly and come down on its prey anymore and was unable to feed itself.  It remained in the valley from which it set, thinking it would never be able to get out anymore.

Then suddenly, it noticed other eagles flying in the air, that would come by the valley to drop meat and feed it.  The dark colored eagle was grateful.  It could not do anything but eat the meat and stay in the valley.

It had seen other remains of eagles that did not survive the dark oil and the valley, hoping that it would not be the eagle’s fate.  The eagle was tormented that it had done something wrong or brought about its own demise.

When suddenly the dark oil stopped seeping out of its body.  Then within weeks it noticed its beak and talons back.

Not realizing that it stopped hurting itself, because the dark oil caused it torment, to where it began to turn on itself.

The eagle realized that those eagles that did not get out of the valley, whose remains were still present, were the ones who did not realize that the dark oil would stop, and they went mad thinking they would never make it, so they turned on themselves as the dark oil seeped out.

The eagle had made it.  It’s wings were washed by the rain that was sent to bathe it in beauty.

The dark oil gone, its beak sharper and its talons longer, suddenly the eagle lifted up to flight and saw that its wings were actually stronger than before!

It could go higher!  Its eyes were focused on the Sun, to where its reach became all the more realized knowing that nothing was impossible.

However, it took the valley of enduring the dark oil that came out and covered it, so that it would not beat itself up, but rather it continued to go to the rock and beat its beak and scratch its talons.

The dark oil represents the sin nature that has to be removed as we go higher in God.

Not many make it through this valley, because they do not look to the ROCK, that took the beating for their sins, but rather they beat themselves up, not realizing that they are killing themselves in the valley as they are tormented and vexed by the dark oil.

The eagle who makes it through, takes itself to the rock, and endures the process of WAITING.

When they are still, the rain is sent to wash off the dark oil, which is the Washing of the Word, that cleanses and prunes us.

As we wait for the dark season, nighttime to end, we are waiting on the LORD and the bringing forth of His Light, showing us that we are clean by Jesus Christ, the Rock of our Salvation!

In your dark place, know that Jesus can heal you and deliver you!

Wait on the meat of His Word and do not be vexed to the point that you hurt yourself, but rather, know that the Rock took the beating for you!

As You wait on the LORD, He will renew your strength, mounting you up on the wings of eagles in a greater grace, where you run and are not weary!

“But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun]; they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired,”   Isaiah 40:31 AMPC.
